OP, you're starting to worry me (easy to do for me when odd engine sounds are involved): my 2.3 has started to mis a bit when cold.
I thought it was just some funky gas I got at an old place in a tourist town, but this was 4 tank-ups ago with my Costco usual.
thanks for sharing your...
Ah, I have to admit my not using any Plus sockets on external fasteners in my Bronco yet, just the bits.
I think the external head in the OP photo just struck me as a Plus… tool clearances and the internal Torx “star” tips not being there.
‘hearing too many bad results of mechanics insisting...
This kinda looks like a toy down there, but just next to some very tall trees.
West of Snoqualmie summit on *trashy forest roads.
After being off-road on washboard and some rocky side trails, I 'tooled my way on pavement a short distance to an empty state park to air up.
The 2-door lets me...
Added some grommet work and tape wrap to a few "getting fuzzy" cable sheath locations on the tailgate area.
This photo is behind the horizontal plastic vent.
Are you sure that's not a Torx Plus?
My 2025 is pretty much ALL Torx Plus, not the "old" Torx.
and yes, I had to buy new bits and sockets to keep up with industry.
Do we need a thread with arguments about, "What's the Best Chainsaw?"?
I'd be left out of that thread; below is what I have/take. I need a new one, must checkout Silky Saw.
No gas, no oil, no leaks, extra workout, longer time outside to enjoy trails 🤔, works on most diameters of...
Wow! Feel bad for you two. On about two of the worst days in PNW for a while (hot and some rain later) 😖
Thank you for the great narrative with photos to boot!
Glad it wasn’t worse for you.
Turn it 90 degrees to fit in the console?:wink:
I know this sounds dumb, but I had a few moments of getting mine to fit back into the console -- it looked square enough for me to be dumb enough for a few tries before I rotated it.
edit : removed dimensions request....i...
Had a '71 Volvo with a screw jack -- it was smooth and great! Not enough lift height for a Bronco, of course, but I liked it for the car.
Now I'm going to have to comb some junkyards for one....
I thought you were inspired by the giant gila monster movie and Shug Fisher's Model-T!
:teehee:
My wife will not let me tell anyone the name I use for my Bronco.
c'mon, everyone HAS to know this movie!
Speaking of front plate mounting options,
one of my dying DIY projects is to mount my front plate without drilling my "capable" bumper, swept back a bit, and kinda removable ... not by a rock shelf!.
Anyone have suggestions that are not in the $$$$$ catagory? Many thanks ahead of time...
DIY Project 1,379. Removable Center Console Container to Better See Crap
This is a quick one I find useful, and have kept it for a month so it is at the "share this" status.
I got tired of twisting in my seat to blindly fumble through the crap that accumulates in the center console box when...

While getting my Bronco oil change yesterday, was thinking of putting a small rubber duck in the restroom of the Ford dealership,
and what kind of riot that would start! Aso, if any of the dealership employees are on this forum.
Seeing this, at a pub a few months ago, is...
In short, like others say, try a few pressures until you like it.

My most recent logging road adventure (yesterday), which I cut short after encountering a full logging truck rampaging from the opposite direction (the side hill I put my passenger tires 2 feet up wasn't too...
Ya mean, like in an Australian sand dune offroading commercial?
My feelings have already been expressed by 90 percent of the others here, so all I really need to add is:
THis is SOME BULL**IT!
I'm still laughing with the OP and the title of this thread. It sounds like something I would have called it.
Great Title!
I get nervous just thinking about letting the dealership do a free wash on mine. 😮
Nothing big here; just drove miles of gravelly forest roads NE of Seattle.
Was the only 2-door of any vehicle I saw up there.
Boy, I KNEW I was ready for anything* on those roads with my short wheelbase Badlands Sasquatch!
(*except for the narrow trails with trees threatening to...
Got my first oil change and 5 tire rotation, at the dealership. 2,600 miles.
Yes, I am one of those old farts (retired mechanical engineer) who believes in early first oil changes.
And I can tell they rotated the spare -- because of the rocks on the current spare from being on a rolling tire...
