Yup 9' ceiling in my garage. Sorry I never measured besides making sure I had room for the Bronco hood to fit under it. That said, there's way more than a foot gap between my bronco hood and the hanging top, so I believe it would work with an 8' ceiling.

I owe you guys an update on this. At some point I started getting a few random pops, not like it was, but not silent. So I read some other threads and ended up putting 2 wraps of electrical tape around the locating pin. Its been silent for months now.

I use the same garage ceiling hoist I used for my JK top. I got it on amazon, but they don't seem to be available currently. Zip tied pool noodles to the bottom of the lift. Remove top fastners using handy Bronco tools.. Lower the lift on top, run straps under and snug. Place front panels...

They had my 2 door for 3 days a couple of months ago. They tell me 2 door skids and rockers are next.

Looks good, but it blocks the intercooler. If it wasn't for the intercooler Bronco bumpers would be easy.
