At the Bronco Off-Roadeo, I was instructed to stop and put it in Neutral before shifting into 4H, 2H, etc. and to never shift "on the fly" while I was moving. This was new to me, especially since I can shift my Suzuki from 2H to AWD on the fly. I actually wrote it down so I wouldn't forget it.
