  1. Guys, why the heck does everyone debadge their trim emblems?

I was thinking about how those badges remind me of the Izod Lacoste alligator shirts the rich boys used to wear in high school. I had to google. Yes, they make chrome alligator badges for vehicles: No, I'm not getting one.
  2. $2500 Order Incentive, 2023 Allocation & More News - Granger Ford

Well, then you definitely qualify as someone who deserves a Bronco! Good luck :D
  3. $2500 Order Incentive, 2023 Allocation & More News - Granger Ford

Good luck everyone! Especially everyone with a July 2020 reservation. Who lives in Colorado. In the 80919! Everyone else too :D
  4. $2500 Order Incentive, 2023 Allocation & More News - Granger Ford

Ah, I get what you're saying. It sounds like you don't have any confidence in other dealers offering fair prices - in writing - in 2024. I don't blame you - my local dealer has a bunch of Broncos on their lot with the used ones priced $10K-$15K above sticker and the new ones at $20K-$25K over...
  5. $2500 Order Incentive, 2023 Allocation & More News - Granger Ford

Not really. You don't keep your timestamp or place in line after 2023, so why does their future allocation matter to you?
  6. I flipped my Bronco about 5 or 6 times

Unbelievable. I'm sorry you went through that. Like someone else noted, make sure you get checked out and don't have any bodily damage (to yourself, not the Bronco). I would consider getting a lawyer to make sure you're properly compensated in case there are injuries. Horrible that the woman...
  7. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Drove from Colorado Springs to Woodland Park, Rampart Range Road to Winding Stairs Road to Scorpio Dome, then Mount Herman Road to Monument and I-25 back to Colorado Springs. A few pics:
  8. Azure Gray Metallic 2023 Bronco (w/ new rock rails design) -- first look sighting

That looks exactly like the hoop steps and non-load-bearing rails that I have on my '22 Outer Banks. It was added as an option earlier this year instead of the standard tube step.
  9. Solution to those who want to acknowledge fellow Broncos on the road!

When I see another Bronco on the road, I just roll down the window and yell really loud, "YOU SHOULD HAVE GOT A 2-DOOR YOU IDIOT!!! LOOK AT HOW MUCH COOLER MINE IS!!!" Sometimes they do this funny wave but usually they just take off. Not always so friendly, those Bronco people.
  10. Who hates their 10spd besides me?

It does, but not low enough for really steep grades, which are common in Colorado. I've been practicing putting it in Manual mode and using the + and - buttons to shift up and down through all the gears. It's only restricted by your speed (if you're going slow, don't expect to get it up to M4 or...
  11. Anyone get the new ford hoop step yet?

Right? I don't know why they didn't. It would have been a very easy upsell for them. Not to me so much (haha, again, I will not be rock crawling) but I think a lot of people would have ponied up the cash to get it from Ford rather than settling for a subpar tube step and going after-market for a...
  12. Anyone get the new ford hoop step yet?

I know. I knew that when I bought it. I don't care. I will never take my Bronco rock crawling.
  13. Anyone get the new ford hoop step yet?

I love it! The original tube step was the only thing that really bothered me about the Bronco when I tried it out at a few events. It seemed too narrow to get my foot on comfortably. I had to turn my leg into an awkward position to avoid hitting the body, and so I tended to skip the step...
  14. Sold out. Finally a Front License Plate bracket solution - order yours today

What size socket are you guys using to remove the bolts on the modular bumper? I've tried every one in my socket wrench set, and the one that comes in the toolkit with the Bronco, but none of them fit. I got the license plate bracket a long time and just got the plates last week... back one's...
  15. Granger is more than legit

The money I saved paid for the flight, two motels, the gas, meals, the taxes, and the registration. And the taxes and registration alone were more than $4,400. Still a great deal. Not to mention the years off my life I would have given up dealing with certain other dealerships.
  16. Granger is more than legit

Aw, man - so happy for you! I did the Iowa-to-Colorado drive last month and it was nothing short of pure joy! Looks like your drive will be a bit longer, with even more scenery. Same Granger experience, too - priced as promised, and Shelby made all the paperwork so easy. Granger has spoiled me...
  17. Build date now missing from backdoor link?

When mine disappeared, it had been built. I freaked out for a minute, then I started tracking the shipping and calmed down.
  18. Does the 2-Door actually exist?

They're there, but they're rare. I've only seen two so far in Colorado Springs - an Area 51 and an Antimatter Blue - plus mine.
  19. Whose 2.7 is running strong with no issues?

Just 1,600 miles in 14 days so far (half of that highway driving from Iowa to Colorado), but it runs like a champ. Took it over 14,000 feet today on Mount Evans. Mine is a 2022 with a 6/2 blend date so I'm not expecting any problems. I'm averaging 20+ mpg on my 2-door.
