Welcome! Hey, did you buy it from Bob Tomes? When I picked up my '23 Badlands on Jan 13th, my salesperson told me they had a customer order w/ tube doors that the original buyer backed out of, and they had just sold it.
Only issue so far was a parking brake failure message when I opened the locked front driver door (with key fob in pocket) a couple of days ago. Hasn't happened since, and no issues with the parking brake.
Absolutely loving the Bronco!! Still slowly breaking it in. Just hit 200 miles this...
Congrats on taking delivery of your new Bronco!
About the alarm, did you try opening and then closing the hood after stopping the alarm? Have you spoken to your dealership? Maybe a bad sensor/trigger?
Thanks. I fixed it. The spade-like terminal on the ground wire was spread out, and it wasn't making a good connection. After bending it back closer together and reinstalling it to the same ground point, that noise is gone.
Just installed my BlackVue DR900X-1CH PLUS. Thanks for this thread and all the helpful posts above.
I used the same ground point as shown in the quoted pic. I checked it with a circuit tester light, and it looks like a quality ground. However, when I start the engine, I'm hearing a faint noise...
There's a primary status and a secondary status. While secondary status is "Produced", primary status is still "In Production" as reflected on the tracker.
Congrats! Enjoy it.
There's a North Texas Bronco Club meet up at LSA Burger in the Colony tomorrow at 11 AM that me and another owner that just took delivery are going to.
Installed mine (fronts) today. I'll take some better close-up pics tomorrow and post here. Easy install. They are very subtle and look very OEM.
I did what someone else mentioned and put some electrical tape over the painted surface before sliding on the slip nuts, to protect the paint.
