I’ve been a forum member for about a year, lurker before that, but didn’t know about this group! I’ve had a BL on order for a year, still no VIN. However, I managed to get a good deal on a ‘23 Wildtrak, w/LUX and tube doors that was an abandoned order, nearly 2 weeks ago.

I’ve lived in DFW all my life, currently residing in Mansfield. Long time 4x4 and muscle car enthusiast… A couple Toyotas, Jeep TJ and Jeep Grand Cherokee, all lifted and fairly modded. Also had change gears for a while and played with a supercharged and heavily modded Mustang.

I already have a large list of mods planned! Hah Looking forward to some wheelin’ in the Bronco!

Welcome! Hey, did you buy it from Bob Tomes? When I picked up my '23 Badlands on Jan 13th, my salesperson told me they had a customer order w/ tube doors that the original buyer backed out of, and they had just sold it.

Thanks, and yes I did!

I had actually almost changed my order to a Wildtrak once I found out it was getting the Fox suspension and Raptor rack/tie rods. For our terrain, I would probably get more use out of it than the stab. disco. So I was definitely ok with the switch. Carb. Gray was my order, but Cactus and Hot Pepper were my back-up colors too. Once I saw it in Cactus with the WildTrak all black trim, I was sold.. The black ADV HT will look better than the factory MIC too, so I was ok with the soft top…

Was the BL you picked up your order or an abandoned?

I think the Ford allocation system is what really messed up my BL order more than anything. I should have ordered from a bigger dealership…

Note too, it came with the console safe as well, and they nearly let me walk out without the tube doors. They didn’t know anything about them. I had to pull out the build sheet, showed them the safe was there but the tube doors weren’t in the truck. Then they hunted them down… They were good after that and the sales guy helped me get them in the truck.

Their finance guy was great to work with too.
