TPMS are valve stems that monitor the tire pressure and send a signal to the computer. The stems are hard and subject to damage (more so than the flexible non-TPMS valve stems) when wheeling. That’s what the protected “hole” at the bottom of the wheel in the picture is for.

That’s a risk for sure. Worst case, I’ll sell them for a loss, but a Ranger FX4 is one of my backup options.

I just ordered wheels to put on my BD, when it arrives. TireRack has a deal on some AlphaEquipt Delta wheels that I like better than anything from the factory. They're 17x8.5 with +35mm offset (Ranger wheels). I think they'll look great and more importantly will fit the Mickey Thompson 33x12.50...

The "LJ" is a stretched TJ, it is commonly referred to as an "Unlimited TJ". It's around 15" longer with 13" more space behind the rear seats. Jeep built them for only 4 or 5 years (2004-2009, I think). There are not a lot of them out there and quality used ones sell at premium prices.

The 2 door LJ is the perfect combination of wheelbase and storage space--not to mention the bullet proof 4.0L, in-line 6. If Jeep still made them, I wouldn't be on this forum--I'd be driving a new LJ. Who knows, maybe the new competition will resurrect an LJ sized Wrangler.
