We went Capable but only because we planned on changing it and it offered a way to get another switch on the dash while not talking up an upfitter slot. I was originally gung-ho about the Mod bumper but upon seeing pics of it with the winch mount immediately changed my mind for something fully...
Nothing against the crew here (or any groups that want to run 1 vehicle type) but I've always had way more fun camping and off roading when guys are running all kinds of gear. Tackling obstacles with a propane powered Toyota...Yessss please. Talking about swapping xj axles with a guy in a TJ...
I'll report back on the wiring this weekend, weather permitting I was going to tackle that Sunday. I'm also not running this back to an Aux switch but going to use the ARB switch (part of all those wires!) mounted on the tailgate. My wife wants to use the compressor to air up her SUP at the lake...
I saw the ags mount and just watched the video. I thought I was being crafty finding that harness! I thought it was odd last year they showed their Mount and seemed to Dodge wiring issues. I’ll have to finish the video later today
I've worked with China on some high tech stuff over the years. I would argue they are the worlds leader in high-tech manufacturing. This stuff is not that...
So far so good, the logo is cheeseball but turn it around? I just put it in so I haven't had much time to mess with it. Will report back!
'Cause it's all el cheapo amazon Chinese stuff. I didn't mean anything racial by it. I'll change it
Got a ton of random storage and usability items from Amazon for the bronco, some good...some not so much but it was easy on the wallet so here goes.
Roll bar storage bags. Came as a pack of 2 and was $80. They came in black and camo. Easy install and pretty solid. Lots of great storage with...
Don't see what you want...Fab it up!
I started this last fall and finally got to welding the pieces together and drilling holes this past weekend. 1/8"plate with 3/8" legs. It fits up nicely with the tire carrier and although I only used 4 of those 8 holes in the center, I drilled them anyway...
My wife is pescatarian so when we're backpacking I rarely end up eating something with meat in it but this sounds great AND something where the dehydrated part actually works as opposed to something like eggs which always suck.
I'm interested in taking the plunge on seeing if a modular bar fits the capable. The capable is so tight to the body I can see interference. You are definitely going to have to drill holes.
It's capable of making Ford a few extra bucks! We got one on our Badlands and I can't wait to swap it out. Bonus was we got a spot/switch for the fog lights.
We took ours out to Portsmouth Island in Sept. I had dogs and a load full so we didn't rip it but you would have miles of undisturbed beaches out there.
