I think I'm in the minority here, but I sprung for the cilajet at the dealer. Some kind of ceramic...It does seem to keep the paint spot free after rain so far.

Yes, I love a V8, I still have 2 that I don't drive very much. but I'm fine with the better mileage, more efficient options, the 2.7 is my daily driver. I mean, in my youth the air in LA was like Beijing is today. It's a small price to pay IMO.

That's interesting that it would have diminished value. Only in the sense that I would much rather have one with a replaced engine than any MY21 that hadn't blown yet.

I have no preference here yet, but the zroadz are about $1200 with the brackets. Also they are bolt-on, maybe you mistyped.

Why don't they work with SAS? I think you could just install them out more toward the fender to block debris.
