I'm not in logistics by would think the factors include, but are not limited to:
1. Weather
2. The holidays
3. Staffing at the trucking company
4. Mechanical issues with the truck(s)
5. Lastly I'll throw in Covid as that seems to be everybody's excuse for everything these days.
In my opinion, if the road is so bad that an experienced driver in a 4 wheel drive vehicle that has winter traction tires on it can't be driven safely, chains are not going to help. Like 4 wheel drive, chains help you go, not stop or steer, especially if you put them on the rear as Ford...
I have been very tempted to purchase numerous items, however, have refrained from all but one. I purchased a Warn Evo 12s off Amazon that I couldn't pass up ($688). If the deal on my Bronco falls through for any reason (ADM, damage in transit, etc.) I will mount it on my 1994 Bronco. I do...
Apparently Ford has never heard of under promise and over deliver. I am not an expert at automobile manufacturing, but it seems like common sense to be able to forecast more than 4-6 weeks of availability on a component. I don't understand how a microchip shortage effects the supply of an...
Congratulations to all that got the good news and sorry for those that did not. I was in disbelief when I got the email, but confirmed with my dealer I got scheduled 1/9/23. Now I can take advantage of Black Friday deals on Bronco accessories. Woo Hoo!
Several dealers have their inventory "auto post" on their site (including customer orders). In order to not be inundated with calls for unavailable units without having to actually manage their website, they add crazy ADM to the customer orders. I'm guessing this is the case with these 18 units.
Thanks for posting this information. Why Ford Motor Company didn't send out this information to protect order holders from shady dealers we'll never know. While I do appreciate that fact that Ford is offering this price protection, I am a little upset that I will not be paying the $39005 MSRP...
The small tank is my concern with the new Bronco. While I don't have my Bronco yet, I have a 2001 Jeep Wrangler I-6 4.0 manual. The Jeep has a 19 gallon tank (15-16 useable) which gets me 220 miles on a good day (all on-road). I find it extremely annoying having to plan every trip around...
I agree as well. I have zero hopes of getting a production date. I've resolved to moving on with my life and IF I ever get scheduled, I'll just have to figure out if I buy it or not. The frustration and anxiety of this process has sucked every bit of excitement for my new Bronco out of me...
Congrats! What dealer did you order from? I ordered at Evergreen Ford (large volume dealer) and still haven't been picked for production from my December 2020 reservation. They won't share allocation/order info so I just hurry up and wait.
Congratulations to the early reservation holders that received build dates. While I'm not surprised my December 2020 reservation 2-door base Sasquatch didn't get picked up, I am a little upset I've seen numerous later res/order, highly constrained builds picked up. What the hell Ford?
I am shocked at the ignorance of dealership personnel regarding the model year 2023 Bronco ordering system. Why do customers have to teach their dealer representative the process and babysit their order? I believe that this is a fairly well known and straight forward process. The level of...
December 2020 reservation, 3/2021 order, 10/2021 re-order, I received the email today. Yippie, I am still in line. How long is the line and what place am I in said line? Very unprofessional, used car salesman and/or politician double speak BS in my opinion. Not nearly as excited about this...
