@Quitefrankly I find Tahuya to be very easy and great for those new to off-roading.; there are bypasses for most obstacles. You should be ok to venture out with your buddy, a map, and basic off-roading supplies.

Congrats on the Bronco. Not sure of your definition of "easy" as you referenced a couple of "roads" that I've not heard of. A lot of the roads for easy exploring are covered in snow this time of year. As for easy/beginner trail practice, Tahuya/Elfendahl is your best bet.

While I've only used the spare on my own vehicle twice in 37 years of driving, I will keep the spare on the back. I think it looks good with it on there and agree with OP that it is nice to have in the (unlikely for me?) event of a flat.
