just experienced this after changing my amp setup. Kick panels are making good music now but the fake exhaust is so loud I thought something had gone wrong with the engine. lol
Re-wired my Key 200.4 to bi-amp. Changed the harness to send head unit power to the rear speakers for fill only. Props to the people at Rad Bronco Parts. They actually used the same color coding on both the in and out of the harness making it easy to change. Retuned the DSP and the extra...
Replaced an headlight. Secured a ground cable. Installed dash and kick panel speakers and re-tuned the Key 200.4. Don’t have it in me to rewire the front stage today. I’ll be moving to bi-amp in a few weeks. Still another huge jump in sound quality as is. Lots of mid bass. I did pack the...
New clues about the skills of whoever put the trailer kit in have arrived. Opening up this panel to get to the speaker in the kick panel. Guess they didn’t bother taking off those bolts last time. Guess I don’t have to either. Lovely dealership work right there.
Holy shit. I’ve been trying to figure out that 3-2 downshift in 4L since my last run. Happened several times and the first time I thought I had to have blipped the throttle. The second it lurched hard and I was on the brake fast. Wtf. That’s actually seriously dangerous.
Forgot put my Key 200 in here a few weeks ago. It’s setup as front stage and rear pods right now. Amazing change in sound quality with just stock junker speakers.
I’m going to take it apart this weekend and rewire the harness so that the Key run front dash and Kicks separately in bi-amp...
Yep. I found my build sheet and confirmed Signature. I have an OEM found and just deciding which way to go. Replace with Form for $1300+. Replace with XB and drop $700 remaining in some lighting. Replace with an OEM take off, get my $700 in lights and a controller, and some replacement speakers...
my OEM fogs fit in my winch bumper so I have plenty of light on road. I have a set on 9” lights for my bull bar in a cart and two amber lights for the bottom of my bumper. So the calculation takes into account what will be mounted up after the purchase too. The XB are best value for price IMO...
Thanks. So there are some objective facts and some subject opinions. People don’t just buy on “that’s the best”. Cost and value always factor.
The XB is brighter than stock at $600ish
Form are brighter still but at $1300
I was content to throw on an OEM takeoff and finish my plan to add...
I’ve been pretty impressed with the OEM. My old Ram lights must have sucked!
are you seeing a price better than this?
