  1. The Bike Thread

My road bike is in my avatar. Look 695sr full carbon roadie. Got hard core into riding and racing for a few years then my kids got old enough to do their own sports and I no longer log many miles.. Had some good years putting in 5-6K miles a year and having some success in Cat 4/5 racing...
  2. Subjective red flags I see... now that I've had some time to let the hype settle in...

Where you riding MTB in TN? I was hard core road biking and doing a good bit of MTB a few years go in the Chattanooga area. We have a plethora of great MTB options within 30 mins of the Nooga downtown. If you're not from here, it's a great place to spend a weekend and ride.
  3. Keyless Entry Keypad

Echo others. It's an awesome feature and has saved my ass numerous times. Wouldn't own a car/truck without it.
  4. Who's bought a vehicle sight unseen before?

2003 F-150. Custom order. First time I drove it was leaving the dealership taking it home.
  5. So the Black Diamond and package options...

You're not going to be watching movies on it. That 8 inch screen will do you just fine. Now, on the 360 cameras . . . yeah you're in a tough spot there. That'a LOT of money of upgrades just to get that. I can understand your frustration.
  6. Towing package content?

I'm lazy. Below $500 and I'll buy from factory. The time savings and no hassle to get installed are worth paying for it up front to me than trying to save a couple hundred bucks after market.
  7. 2021 Classic Bronco rendering

I'd take that in a heartbeat.
  8. Black Diamond Daily Driver

It will be my daily driver. I'll keep my F-250 for hauling, towing our 5th wheel, farm stuff, etc. But my BD will get me the LONG 2 miles too and from work each day. I'm confident it'll be up to the task!
  9. Bronco Owners Going Soft?

I'm old school. I don't want or use Sync 4 stuff. Auto driver assist packages are completely unwanted as well. I'm the driver. I can handle it. Don't want a computer trying to drive it for me. Had a rental suburban last august and didn't realize it had drivers assist on. Nearly wrecked...
  10. Bronco Owners Going Soft?

Down in Emerson, travel baseball capital of the South! Got friends that drive their kids down there 2-3 times a week 4-5 mos out of the year for practices not to mention tournaments. I think they're crazy but they persist. Pretty country down there with those rolling hills.
  11. Bronco Owners Going Soft?

Agreed. We're way too tough to need butt crack air conditioning!
  12. Bronco Owners Going Soft?

  15. Bronco Owners Going Soft?

It's like I keep telling my kids, 95% of the people you call Boomers are actual Gen X.
  16. Bronco Owners Going Soft?

    Agreed.
  17. Bronco Owners Going Soft?

The OP lives in a house on the side of a mountain that he bought. Himself. The house. Not the mountain. He works on it with tools that he purchased himself. . . at ACE Hardware. He does go out and kill deer, ducks, dove (dove season opens in 11 days and I've got a five acre sunflower/corn...
  18. Bronco Owners Going Soft?

Solid Front Axle on your Conastoga = respect.
  19. Bronco Owners Going Soft?

We are going to take up a collection and buy you some periods and maybe a comma or two. ;-) Well said.
  20. Bronco Owners Going Soft?

I knew America was soft as a whole. Bronco owners/future owners I expected more from.
