My road bike is in my avatar. Look 695sr full carbon roadie. Got hard core into riding and racing for a few years then my kids got old enough to do their own sports and I no longer log many miles.. Had some good years putting in 5-6K miles a year and having some success in Cat 4/5 racing...
Where you riding MTB in TN? I was hard core road biking and doing a good bit of MTB a few years go in the Chattanooga area. We have a plethora of great MTB options within 30 mins of the Nooga downtown. If you're not from here, it's a great place to spend a weekend and ride.
You're not going to be watching movies on it. That 8 inch screen will do you just fine.
Now, on the 360 cameras . . . yeah you're in a tough spot there. That'a LOT of money of upgrades just to get that. I can understand your frustration.
I'm lazy. Below $500 and I'll buy from factory. The time savings and no hassle to get installed are worth paying for it up front to me than trying to save a couple hundred bucks after market.
It will be my daily driver. I'll keep my F-250 for hauling, towing our 5th wheel, farm stuff, etc. But my BD will get me the LONG 2 miles too and from work each day. I'm confident it'll be up to the task!
I'm old school. I don't want or use Sync 4 stuff. Auto driver assist packages are completely unwanted as well. I'm the driver. I can handle it. Don't want a computer trying to drive it for me.

Got friends that drive their kids down there 2-3 times a week 4-5 mos out of the year for practices not to mention tournaments. I think they're crazy but they persist. Pretty country down there with those rolling hills.
The OP lives in a house on the side of a mountain that he bought. Himself. The house. Not the mountain. He works on it with tools that he purchased himself. . . at ACE Hardware. He does go out and kill deer, ducks, dove (dove season opens in 11 days and I've got a five acre sunflower/corn...
