I second, if possible linking those here. Outside of full transmission replacements where the noise comes back and 1 user on FB who had the TSB performed with positive results we don't have much.
Lots of us waiting for parts on the TSB list.
Generally, I'd believe Ford would issue a new...
Maybe I'm biased because, you know, I have a Base SAS, but I think the reality is SAS on all trims was a brilliant business move, and it will continue to be part of their marketing plan for sometime. Ford wants inroads into a market Jeep has owned ever since ford stopped making the Bronco, and...
I went with the RekGen because spending 1% of my Broncos purchase price of mud flaps seemed like too much, and that math checks out
I did the short ones not the XL, and only the front because I literally can't tell you what the back ones would protect, unless it my responsibility to care about...
Congrats all, looks like in 3-4 months we're gonna have an influx of 2 doors on the road!
As a base SAS 7MT owner you 100% y'all won't regret it, I love mine, but also excited to see some heritage editions getting on the road soon too.
It would appear the 7MT, Base and 2-door bumped a lot of...
The only other example we have of someone actually getting the TSB needed 5 and 6th gears as well. Glad to see your getting it done, DJP, bummed for your long wait. I think you can at least have confidence that the tech working on your car noticed a problem and didn't decide to just button it...
Congrats, only one more day then, you waited long and probably one of the last 5 holdouts on here from 10/31, but on a positive note you don't have a 2023 with a non-functional speaker, and you'll have a wildtrak, which based on the news over the last week seems basically impossible to get now.
Picked-up my bronco today, dealer will call when they have parts. Again, they expected 3 months before I'd actually get on the schedule. They had to bring the bronco around to me, wish I had the camera recording it was 56F out and the sound was super loud.
Also note, the dealer had so many...
That is a good clip, same status, mine does it all the time, I do feel like yours is louder just based on the clip. Mine does get a little "better" when it's warmer, but by no means gone.
Regardless, I took mine in today. Service advisor confirmed sound. Technician will take a look at it in...
Man I really thought I was done with this tracking BS when I got the bronco.
Just when I thought I was out of the game, boom, shift gears (1st or 2nd), boom right back in the game.
Minor update on mine, about 1,000 miles, sound has progressed to basically full time through first and second and...
As a follow up, I did nearly the same install. Absolutely love it, the same cable and adaptor to run wire from the overhead panel. Have not committed to the mix holder yet. I either want a retractable attachment up there or something like a small Molle panel.
I used @Mountains2Metal brackets...
Figured I’d pop a couple updates in here for my build week gang. 1) I’ve got the loud manual transmission issue, have an appointment for the 16th hopefully that goes well.
2) I did a clean install of a midland GRMS overhead, had to remove a lot of panels, but worth it for the clean look
3) took...
Just have them make sure the oil is filled correctly and tell them to test drive the bronco after the swap and ask them to be honest with themselves if the scrolling sound is gone, because if its not you're just going to be bringing this new one back to get the TSB.
Might be worth requesting a...
As soon as someone in this thread comes back with positive vibes on the TSB it's kinda just waiting. I'm glad someone here changed and topped off the oil. I wanna see the long term outcome of that, we've been going around that concept for weeks now.
