That is really weird my extended warranty covers them. Send me a message with you VIN number and I can do a little investigating to make sure they are not trying to screw you over.
When doing that service at the dealer I just spray about half a bottle of brake clean all over the gears and that stuff at the bottom usually drains out with the brake clean.
The VCM 2 gives you dealership level diagnostics. Its integrated into FDRS and IDS allowing you to do more things than the cheaper ones from Amazon. Its a slight bit slower than a VCM 3 but those are in the thousands right now. You also have the Customer Flight Recorder capability, so if your...
My dealership has just upgraded all our VCM 2's to the new VCM 3. We have 3 old VCM 2's and we are looking to sell them. To use them all you have to do is get a license for IDS or FDRS. We are looking for $250 per unit
That's true. The Ford warranty rates are way lower than regular shop rates also the time allowed to complete the work is lower than normal book time. A lot of technicians don't like warranty work for this reason.
So I just found out that it is not a special program through Ford. Its actually a program that our local FAD set up. My parts manager is going to get me the contact information for our FAD and you can give it to you parts people wherever you reside and they may be able to set it up.
If you are interested in any of the Ford Performance wheels, your local dealer can request a special deal where you will get up to $500 off a set and you get the new wheel and tire package and you just give the dealer your old wheel and tire package. That's what I did for my FP Method wheels

Its not. Ford has stated that they would update OASIS when the fix for the wobbling was ready. There has been no update yet so they still have another fix coming. Also they say Q3, btu they really usually mean 4-5 months later. Sometimes it gets updated according to their timeline, but usually...
I had mine for 4 days before I needed to replace the windshield. Funny enough the factory windshield was cheaper that the aftermarket one and it was available faster than the aftermarket.
Yeah no problem. Also if you have issues getting the connector back together get some of that In-Force and spray in the connector. It really helps and helps prevent future corrosion
What I usually do is spray the connectors with brake clean or BG In-force spray. The BG stuff us really good for it. Just be careful to not break the clip
I agree with you that damaged items should not be replaced, but can it be proven that the customer absolutely caused the damage? Can it be proven that the material used is defective? I'm not saying that they should without a doubt replace it because its damaged. I'm just playing devils advocate...
