Hey, same as me. Replacing my Q5 with a 4 door Bronco, keeping my 2 door Rubicon also picked up a Tacoma this past spring for the shop I drive to work most of the time.
  2. Build & Price Updated: Auto No Longer Free For Mid-Level Trim + Other Changes

Would use them pretty much the same, daily driving, road trips, hitting some trails, etc. The extra space in the Bronco would come in handy for the long road trips or camping. The 2 door Rubicon I believe will be better for more challenging trails. Think they will both have their advantages. I...
  3. Build & Price Updated: Auto No Longer Free For Mid-Level Trim + Other Changes

Not really surprised by the increase, but this did narrow my choice. Originally planned on the WT since it had all the options I wanted. But I am having hard time warming up to the interior so the back up plan was the BL since I liked the interior. The BL was a little more and had a few options...

My teenage daughter wanted to see the country so from 2016 thought 2019 I took off 2-3 weeks each summer and we have done long road trips around the country. The trips were ususally around 5000 miles. Also mixed in a few shorter trips that were about a week long. Unfortunately we needed to...

  13. Fitting Through Garage Doors

Also have about a 650 sq/ft covered patio with with built in counter/grill and a TV on the back of the house. Since we built a custom house were able to add some unique features. Housing values (and prop taxes) have been shooting up in this area with all the companies and people moving here.
  14. Fitting Through Garage Doors

By design, average 3 car garage in the Austin area is about 600 sq/ft, mine is about 1000 sq/ft. Part of the reason I built a new house a few years ago.
  15. Fitting Through Garage Doors

We built a new house a couple years ago and made sure to get 8' doors (have about 93" opening) and went 27' deep on the garage. Out of the norm here, most garages are only 20' to 21' deep in this area. But that extra 6'-7' made such a big difference.
