Having not heard from Ford since May 15 when they “said” I had a June 14th build, I called my dealer and he gave me the July 7 th news. Not complaining mind you but it was a surprise.

You want an option like a Samurai. Hardtop (tintop) and soft top. Not that crazy really. Ford could do away with the roll bar And free up interior volume and the rear door Could be a full door.
I personally want the removable top, but then again I do have 3 Samurais that are open top versions.
With the dynamics presented from tops, chips, tow package, etc…, do you suppose they are staying nimble? I would surmise that constraints will determine clean builds and imagine that scheduling too far out could be futile.
Just think what the shortage of unique builds and consequent ADM, no 2 drs, no manual Squatch, etc…would be if these had no reservation system in place and we had to wait for them to show on dealer lots.
True, except these (boosted) motors are mapped to take advantage of the higher octane. Different boost curves, ignition mapping, EGT feedback, etc. based on the octane of the fuel. They will run on 87 and the 2.3 makes 270 hp/315 tq. but with premium its 300/325. Do you suppose you can feel an...
