I want to make sure we are on the same page. Let’s say you torque one of your lug nuts to 50 pounds with a torque wrench and then with that same torque wrench set at the same 50 pounds and a 2 foot cheater it will go to around 100 pounds.

Unless Techun was talking about a normal 1/2” or 3/4” ratchet or breaker bar. I might have misunderstood at thought he was talking about a torque wrench.

That makes total sense with a plain wrench the longer the cheater the more force as there is nothing stopping you from reaching a certain poundage. With a torque wrench it will stop you at a certain poundage. for example with a plain wrench and a 6 foot cheater you could reach let’s say 3-400...

I have seen this somewhere before I do not understand why you only have to go to 175 lbs with a 2 foot cheater. Yes it will be easier to get to 175 lbs but that does not change that the wrench is still stopping at 175 lbs instead of 350 lbs could someone explain.

Hey guys when replacing your rear coilovers are you torquing them at the 350 lbs or something lower.

The pin is not the problem in fits in the hole just won’t go in all the way because of the arch of the wrench not sitting flush with the adjusting collar. I think what bothers me the most is Fox can’t throw in an a wrench that cost under a $100 with coilovers costing around $5k

I’m having my MIC Top replaced tomorrow under warranty and I only have 145 miles on it. It’s suppose to be a revised one what ever that means. I agree with that website it should be warrantied for 5 years.
