I’ve had my bronco back for about a month, it’s hot out, but still standing behind my statement that even in summer it’s quieter than what it was before. I too hope that holds up through the winter.
Glad you got out okay. Hurts to see, would love to see it get rebuilt. I'm assuming its a manual, not sure I saw you state that anywhere but since you put the parking brake on I'd figure it is. Going to be a hard vehicle to replace but you'll find something.
EDIT: Never mind, checked out a...
Finally got my Bronco back today. It was in for 3 weeks, but they didn't actually get to working on it till this past Friday, so it was really only 3 working days. I don't hold the long wait against the dealer, I straight up told them make it right not fast and I've been traveling for work...
@DREWR13 What color was the Jeep with the Broken front end? Found this clip on youtube posted today, same weekend.
Map below most be outdated, we did a loop on 93, then down 93A, in route we did a section on 93B, or were we further down and went up 93C?
Dropped off Bronco, expected 7-14 days to get back per dealer. Dealer said this is the second Bronco with this condition that they'll be servicing. Locally another person I have been to off-roading events with had TSB done. Claimed they had the noise continuously in warm weather till it was...
@ATLBronco75 We did not hit the section with the rock field. We did 93, and 93A, and a section of 93C I believe, we ended up having to turn around for a vehicle broken down on the trail.
Dealer called about a week ago, all parts are in for the TSB including the D revision of the updated part. Dropping off on May 30th. Delay is on me; off-roading trip planned for the 28th, did not want to miss that if the bronco is in longer than expected.
100% would buy a full 2-door Armorlite kit. My best advice, on the two door make it so the rear seat mounting locations are covered as fully as possible. IE many 2 door owners plan to remove the rear seats, having the mounting locations "seemless" would be awesome. There are a few body...
Some folks are going to do 600-1 and 600-2 in Alabama this weekend. Meeting at 10:00 at the Adam’s gap trailhead parking lot. I can make a post about that if folks be interested.
I have no idea how many pages I've missed. Just checking in to see if anything new.
New Synchro is a D.
New Trans is an E.
Maybe 1-2 people have gotten updated repair?
Not enough data to say much yet.
Much has been said regardless.
In GA my noise is effectively gone for the summer, and my...
