  1. Best speed for MPG performance?

I have a base 2dr with the 7MT and I get 25-26 highway mpg at 72 mph. This is on flat Florida highways. I think the "street" tires on the base and no squatch lift make a huge difference. I also had a base 4dr with auto and got about the same mpg highway.
  2. Hard top headliner falling apart in high heat

Thinking maybe a recent bad batch. Picked up my Bronco about three weeks ago (S. FL) and today found the headliner came down like the OPs.
  3. Tow Hitch Install

That adapter is for connecting a 4 pin trailer to a 7 pin tow vehicle, opposite what you have. If your trailer has a 7 pin connector, it has electric brakes. In that case you must have a brake controller, wired or wireless, for your tow vehicle.
  4. Tow Hitch Install

The 7 pin connector requires installing a brake controller on your Bronco. The 7 pin allows using a trailer with electric brakes. Most states require trailer brakes when towing above 3,000 lbs. However, boat trailers with brakes don't usually have electric ones. Instead they have hydraulic...
  5. Somebody wanna talk me down..? Cheap, light wheels…

Buy American! Made in the USA...
  6. Broken into in a well lit public garage

You have it, just open the Ford Pass app on your phone, go to Safety and Security
  7. Saw this crash about an hour ago

Strange there doesn't appear to be an intersection, stop sign, light around. Why was the Bronco stopped in the middle of the road anyway?
  8. Is Bronco resale for profit a thing anymore?

A month ago I sold my 4dr Base to Carvana for $46,500. Original MSRP was $36,600. With taxes, tags and ADM, I was all in for $41,500 so small profit. However, Vroom's offer was only $35,000 so YMMV
  9. Engine knock perhaps - 2.3L ?

I have the same noise on my base model with auto. With so many reporting this noise it is likely just normal: for this engine. We have a 5yr/60,000 mile powertrain warranty so I am just not worrying about it and enjoying my Bronco.
  10. Did Trail Turn Assist get added to MT for 2023?

Maybe he is referring to Hill Descent Control that is only on the manual?
  11. Bronco Build Week 4/10/2023

Yep, its a gamble, but Carvana went from offering $2K below my invoice in Dec. to $8K over invoice this week. Vroom actually went down from $2K under invoice in Dec. to $4K below this week. I figured a "bird in hand" rather than take a chance on low offers in a couple months. The Bronco is my...
  12. Bronco Build Week 4/10/2023

Same on a 2dr base manual. I hope it doesn't keep getting pushed out as I just sold my 4dr auto Bronco to Carvana in preparation to get the 2dr manual I really wanted. Hate to be without a Bronco for very long.
  13. 💰 Official: $2500 Order Modification Offer to Wildtrak Customers (switch trims) and Non-Wildtrak Customers (modify order to remove constraints)

I have a 2dr order that already has no constraints (other than the MIC). Can I add Sasquatch, then remove it and get the $2,500 private offer?
  14. Adv Fiberglass hardtop preview (by Advanced Fiberglass Concepts)

Corvettes haven't used fiberglass since 2004. Starting with the C6 in 2005, they use SMC - sheet molding compound. Which raises the question as to why Ford didn't use SMC as Chevy does for the Vette.
  15. Anyone receive a scheduling email today?

I just checked with Ford chat. Not scheduled yet. Actually I think I'm glad. Rather get a 2023 at this point. Also, might go for the Heritage edition this way.
  16. I Have Two Identical Broncos Arriving This Month

Take delivery of the first one, drive it a few weeks to make sure there are no quality issues, then get your deposit back on the second. That way, if you first one comes in and there are any issues with it, you trade it in on the second.
  17. Advice on how to remove plastic screws to access brake lights?

When I ran the power I did the same from the front, along the frame rail, but when I got to the back tire, I removed the fender flare and it was easy to run the wire inside the fender, above the wheel well, back to just in front of the bumper. Worked out well and wire is protected.
