There are actually two bolt on the driver's side, but I didn't chime in to nitpick... I found that you need a 10mm deep socket to successfully remove them.
Thanks for all the witty replies. Based on replies, it seems like only myself and @Joer only got one, so certainly doesn't sound like a Bronco Key Fob shortage like my dealer said.
Anyway, I called them yesterday and said hell with it, I'll just take a non-Bronco Ford fob. Not that I have ever...
I recall that this same dealer only had one key for a Fusion I bought there a few years ago and I had to come back the next week on "key day" or whatever when the guys was there to program new keys.
Yes, I meant my Bronco. Sorry this is such a PITA for you. I was surprised when I found the second (useless) code. It seems like you might have to take a trip back to the dealer... not sure how resettable something like that is but I really don't know.
I picked up my Bronco about 7 weeks ago now. Got it from Healey Ford in Goshen, NY. At the time, they said that it only came with one key fob, probably due to either chip shortage or manufacturing issues. It's the special "Bronco" key fob, instead of the generic "Ford," but essentially just says...
My truck came with a sealed pack in the glove compartment with the code on a plastic card. This code worked and I was able to set up my own code.
THEN three weeks later when I was installing a subwoofer and needed access to power, I found a SECOND card with a code basically covering the fuse...
Interesting to see that the same spot on my CO is also not painted well! WTF!?
Also, that empty space under the door latch bump out is the perfect spot for a custom sub. Years ago I had a powered sub in an empty, unusable space over the rear passenger tire in the back of an Explorer.
After I finally got my Bronco CO BB last month (2 years to the day after I placed my reservation!) I took the top off and installed the Tonneau cover that came from the dealer for $160 and for some reason is $109 aftermarket on Ford's website.
I had the same problem as everyone else... could...
When my Bronco switched from a 2021 to a 2022, I went line by line and caught some changes but missed that the roof rails had been dropped from the order. I managed to snag them for 20% off when they briefly were in stock in the May 20% off promotion and had them about two months before my...
I was witnessing this tonight, so came on here to search. My '22 BB has just been backed into the garage. Lights have been on for maybe 60 minutes now. I opened the passenger door around 30 mins to see if it did anything and now it's 30 mins later and lights are still on. I moved the key fob...
We are all going to have different opinions, because we all have different needs. But much like the OP, I went up and down the trim packages and was all over the place. I think what finally helped me zero in on what I wanted as I go through my third, and hopefully final mid-life crisis was being...
I was going to holler "Someone get me a can of white spray paint!" but then I read AARDVARK122's awesome thread! I guess it's a little more complicated!
