I
I did this already. It works. I bought one from a wildtrak and put it in my base, I unplugged the fad harness and I was able to switch into 4wd with no errors. You need to forscan change on the donor AWD module to switch it from advanced transfer case to part time transfer case. I also have...
I use the dometic go jug mounted to my seat delete floor, using inserts in the floor and the American Adventure Lab mount. When I'm not needing the water I just remove the mount.
On longer trips or where I need potable water also then I bring rotopax mounted to built right molle panel...
The 4wp/pro comp rear spring is 18" free length. Yes the eibach fit fine, no issues, it's definitely a smaller o.d and wire diameter then the 4wp spring, but no rubbing issues that I've seen so far and they fit nice on the collar and perch. I took a bunch of measurements and the 16" spring block...
On my 2 door with a steel rear bumper and seat delete I just swapped in Eibach 16" 225 lb spring into my 4wp/pro comp and it barely dropped it down, maybe 1/4" drop, with minimal preload still. With 33's im sitting at 39 3/4" rear now. I'm debating swapping to the 18" 200 lb spring or getting...
I haven't had a chance to swap my 4.46 axle in just yet, so I haven't done a writeup on this. But I have done testing with actual parts on my Bronco and have been able to find a way to delete the FAD without procal and do factory hero switch and harness integration and did a test where I...
Just did the swap myself today, thanks @Ducati1098 for paving the way. Sooo much better, especially as a 7MT owner. I lucked out and found one at a junkyard with 17 miles on it and got it for $250 shipped . I was familiar with the swap since I did my 2015 f150, so it was a similar process...
Last off-road trip this happened to me, I filled up gas at 4k feet and 90+ deg and then immediately proceeded to go up to 11k feet and like 80 degrees and it happened. After I burned up more gas it was fine. It has to be due to the pressure difference and venting and going into the charcoal...
Agree, not impressed with mine, mine caved in the middle like @redone17, the mabett one has no structure to it. I ended up running it over a few times to straighten it back out though. The talons garage one with the stiffener ribs is a better design.
The ARB Bronco guide says if you put the ARB into a Sasquatch/Badlands etc locked bronco u have to use the non Sasquatch shafts. So no I don't think a factory locked axle would work with non locker shafts.
Also I don't think it's true that the pumpkin is what is offset, it's the carrier...
@Snacktime do you have a manual or auto? Curious of the configurations we have verified now.
Seems like since it's confirmed to work for both me and you that it does indeed work. For people with an -FA module already I'm pretty sure it's as simple as getting an AWD module out of a vehicle with...
Pretty sure I've figured out how to get front locker factory integration to work also. Just waiting on the harness to come so I can test it to a locker solenoid. I am able to get front locker hero button to light up and it only works in 4L, so module wise it's working and it shows up in the...
Copy makes sense. I think that's the best way to go for part time transfer case and no fad and auto trans, the GA likely has built in protections in the software calibration for the transfer case switching with no fad. Which might not allow switching into 4H at speed like Ford does with the...
Damn! Okay. The mystery to me still is why Ford has two different modules ( MB3A-7P238-FA and MB3A-7P238-GA ). Doubt we'll ever know why. With what you learned then I think if you have an -FA module you need to stick with calibrations associated with FA modules and if GA module stick with...
The center belly hangs down 4" from the underneath surface of the roof without any gear in it, this is with all the mounting straps pulled as tight as they can be. It's right above or flush with the horizontal plastic trim at the very rear where the rear dome light is. Mine doesn't hang really...
Any 7MT Sasquatch owners with the 4 button hero switch, front locker, rear locker, traction control, hazard, willing to pop out their hero switch from the dash and take a picture of the engineering part number on the backside of the hero switch, there's a part number sticker with a QR code...
So your post was convient because I had a used Wildtrack AWD module on the way, it showed up today and I installed it. I used FORSCAN to load my asbuilt configuration into the module right after install, I then did the AWD module relearn procedure in FORSCAN. I then tested the 4WD functions and...
Did you try loading the AWD software from a non fad m190? I had convinced myself that I would be able to just swap in a used AWD module from a non fad bronco and in forscan make sure the line for AWD vs part time transfer case set for part time transfer case and it would work, I believe that...
