I'm not here to defend Nissan but we luckily have never had any kind of problem like that. Maybe it was tranny specific ? My son in Titan, wife Pathfinder, daughter Rogue, wife Infiniti. Over the years maybe 15 or more never had an issue. I am sorry you had that problem.
