  2. HD Modular Bumper now available from Ford Performance Parts

  3. HD Modular Bumper now available from Ford Performance Parts

That would be the easy part using the proper size hole saw, I was on the fence post on this, for some reason it will not work with ACC, not sure why, no one seems to know why so I moved on to an aftermarket bumper.

  5. Post your 2.3L Bronco Ford Performance Calibration Tune review

Its like a kick in the ass, you feel that, your body, seat of the pants feels the torque. The more HP the quicker and faster your car will go. Higher top speed is credited to HP. Do you want Max Torque or Max HP, gearing make all the difference, which do you want for the best performance at a...
  6. Post your 2.3L Bronco Ford Performance Calibration Tune review

Good Points, that's all I'm trying to say, you said it better "the torque you feel early on is just power coming on early, at low RPM". Thank You
  7. Post your 2.3L Bronco Ford Performance Calibration Tune review

Point taken and that's my point, lower RPM is where the sweet spot is on trail and stop light take off lies. I had a 2.0 VW diesel that jumped off the line faster than most, except an electric vehicle, that's where instant torque comes into play
  8. Post your 2.3L Bronco Ford Performance Calibration Tune review

You are not talking the same thing, a jet engine develops Thrust. A jet engine typically produces around 10,000 pounds of thrust. Some jets can even reach a thrust of up to 20,000 pounds. One pound of thrust is the force it takes to move one pound 32 feet in one second. But that's another...
  9. Post your 2.3L Bronco Ford Performance Calibration Tune review

I will not disagree, but people think they feel horsepower, you do not you feel torgue.
  10. Post your 2.3L Bronco Ford Performance Calibration Tune review

Yes it is, its the torque you feel not horsepower. Horsepower brings a quicker higher end result, torque you feel off the line, consequentially better when on the trail and in the rocks. Speed does you no good out in the dirt. I think you know that's why big rigs use diesel engines, for the torque.
  11. Post your 2.3L Bronco Ford Performance Calibration Tune review

Biggest reason for the 2.3 I found is the Huge boost in torque, Horsepower means nothing, these are not race cars, it's the grunt you feel. When used with the manual you control the sweet spot of that added torque. You cannot feel HP. HP is for upper end speed, the grunt keeps you out of touble.
  12. HD Modular Bumper now available from Ford Performance Parts

RagnarKon Thank you sir. As I mentioned in an earlier post, my wife's 4 door Wildtrack has the Mod Bumper with both ACC and Park Sensors, the ACC is in the same place as mine with Capable Bumper. It seems odd Ford would have so many configurations for bumper fitment with regards to R & D costs...

  16. 24' Manuals input please

I am just shy of 50k on my '23 SAS Badlands 2 door, noisy in any temperature conditions summer or winter. Changed all driveline fluids at 25k will do it again at 50k because I'm a nut about maintenance. The noise does not bother me. I'm more concerned with electronic glitches than a little...
  17. Manual transmission scraping noise / grinding sound

This is frustrating, I gave up wondering and worrying long ago. Driving the wheels off of it, currently at 48,000 miles. Noise prevalent any temp early morning or during the day. Changed the gear lube just because, not expecting it to change anything and it did not. So, its a bit noisy, it shows...
  18. 7MT TSB…a nuisance or a real issue causing damage/failure?

Agreed, 60k is a ways out, I just past 36k on my '23, not the least bit worried. Just an annoying grind I've gotten used to. I did purchase an extended warranty to 150k, more for electronics than anything else. Mechanical repairs are simple fixes, electronic gremlins not so much. To my knowledge...
