An added plus is the increased fluid capacity by 1.75 quarts
Regardless of what it says, it does not work with the 2.3. The 2.3 is a typical threaded drain plug M12-1.75. The Quick Twist Valve with Stainless Drain Tube Knob or Fumoto valve are both great options.
Thank You, good to know. I bought the Eibach w/ Heavy Duty spring along with the Zone UCA's as a package sold through Panda Motorworks - https://www.pandamotorworks.com/products/pmw-off-road-stage-1-coilover-kit-fits-21-ford-bronco?_pos=1&_sid=77c95f838&_ss=r - this was on sale so I figured why...
Thank You, I'm OK for now with the Method Wheel and the new UCA. I'm not going wild with the suspension rise, an inch at the most. I'm installing a Hidden Winch Mount which will add weight to the front end, that's the biggest reason I'm going to the Eibach HD Spring Struts, this will allow me to...
Funny, but not true
I change my oil every 5k, the silicone gave out around 7 changes 35k miles. Ordered three new Ford originals so I have them when needed.
If I may ask, I see you are in the Midwest, by any chance in Illinois? if so what dealership, I'm in Woodstock and would trust one who has done this type of service several times to undertake this in my Bronco. Crazy I suppose, I did bring this up with the small town dealer I bought it from...
All of the pictures have been helpful in my decision moving forward. I have a question that may belong in another thread, but I'd like clarification from those who have changed to a 37" tire. It's my understanding that when going to a 37" tire, your wheel offset should be 0 to keep the tire from...
Question, has Ford not yet definitively solved this issue?
As I've said in the past and you seem to reinforce, it's really not a big issue other than a noise annoyance. With no known failure causing irreparable harm to the vehicle or stranded owners its merely an engineering issue that has been...
Did you bring it to a Ford dealer, certainly they read through the TSB's? That's insane to let them take it apart and see what parts it needs. Good Luck with that.
I'm not opposed to Crimp if done properly and the only way to be fully successful is if you use the crimp connector used the the 14:25 mark follow up with Heat Shrink tubing. This is the best as the second crimp grabs the wire insulation to solidify the connection to the wire body. Most will not...
I agree with this video, its done with an improper solder joint and NO Heat shrink tubing, which isolates this from happening when installed. I can do just what he's doing with a crimped joint, when wiggled around enough, its called work hardening the copper. Its particularly easy with smaller...
The video is an excellent tutorial. Watching the video starting around the 8:40 mark its all about PROPER SOLDERING techniques, most do not understand the effects of wicking and cold solder joints. Then the application of heat shrink tubing is critical, if understood and done properly, in my...
I've done a lot of automotive wiring on my vehicles. The only way I do it is slipping heat shrink tubing over the wire first, then a straight splice soldering the connection, slipping the heat shrink over the joint and shrinking with a heat gun. I know its done right, permanent and trouble free...
Good Question, even for those who bought After market Bumpers. Not one After market supplier mentions the need for this. You would think from a liability standpoint the After market industry would make note of this.
