No. The lady I am dealing with said she sent an email out to the support team to see if July 22 - July 28, 2022 delivery would happen or will it be pushed again.
I think I know the answer to that already. I’m hoping she offers to go beyond that if they can’t commit to an actual delivery window.
Out of curiosity, I played along and sent an email. I got a very similar response. Only thing really different is the names of the people that replied. Canned responses.
I seriously doubt your Bronco is delayed due to shipping. They closed the plant for 2 days during the 5/16 build week due to part shortages. Most folks waiting on early June builds are missing parts.
I don’t blame him for failures by part suppliers or the supply chain issues.
Bad design? If it’s a bad design, why are you here? People here calling out the Bronco for bad design issues sound silly.
I blame the plant manager for rolling thousands of unfinished Broncos off the line to rot in...
I think once they roll them in the lot they end up buried behind a line of Broncos waiting on parts. I don’t believe they have the ability to track them after that. I will be shocked if I get mine before the end of August.
Time in “falsely built” status would be more accurate.
If your vehicle is actually built, it ships within days. It sits when it’s incomplete waiting on parts. It’s not due to the convoys or rail. The shipping folks are taking a lot of blame for bad business ethics used by Ford.
I called Ford Marketing today. They told me my Bronco is built and release. It should update to shipped in the next day or two.
I told her to look deeper into the report. She did. She was shocked that it said “built, plant hold”. It’s actually noted on the top line of the report but they...
None of your previous Ford purchases factor in to any of this. If it did I would got mine last year. I have 27.5 years in at Ford and have own nothing but Fords my entire adult life. Too many to list and too many to remember.
Order banks for 2022 models closed on March 7, 2022.
My guess is...
The Ford Marketing folks are in the dark as much as we are. They can only offer up their best guess on what your delay is. Shipping was a huge problem earlier this year. That no longer seems to be the case.
Your dealership can see plant holds and shipping delays. Ask your sales person to...
Welcome aboard!
6/8 build date. Wildtrak - loaded. I’m in my 6th estimated delivery window. They push it out a week every week with no explanation. My dealer is 20 miles from MAP.
Perspective goes a long way: Ford launched multiple new models at the same time a global pandemic hit the world and shut the supply chain down.
If you believe your rhetoric, why on earth did you buy a Ford?
Most of the quality issues are related to parts. The parts manufacturers are still struggling due to labor and supply chain issues. The guys here playing it all down don’t work in manufacturing and are clueless.
The problem is Ford constantly reports unfinished vehicles as built. Once they go into the system as built the computer generated emails and estimated shipping windows start rolling in week after week.
After reporting it built they update the status as “built / plant hold”. They don’t...
