Aside from the generally better specs, Wranglers are extremely bumpy. Overall an unpleasant ride while the Bronco has a smoother suspension (IFS).
The open top experience is also much less limiting on the Bronco.
The Bronco also seems to have more options that may appeal to a lot of buyers as...
No bar blocking the open top view.
Doors are basically half-doors.
Can store doors on-board.
Better ride quality (IFS).
Is capable of high speed off-roading at all (also IFS).
Looks significantly better inside and out IMO.
Tiny details are better though out (i.e. brackets on top of...
So when the dealership gets assigned a reservation, they are automatically placed and shown in the order in which their assigned reservations were made?
That’s great to know. I am curious as to how the reservation order is read.
Does the place in line show in the system when the reservation number is input? Or is it based off of order time on the confirmation email or something similar?
I’m currently driving a soft top Jeep and will be going with the hard top Bronco 100%.
The soft top is definitely easier to get open, with the flip back part on the front. Just flip two patches and push it back. It’s also easier to get the whole thing all the way open by taking off the side...

Will we be able to switch from our First Edition to another trim level at the time of order (without canceling/losing our place in line)?
There’s a lot of confusion on this point online. I’m happy with my dealership, but may want something other than a First Edition.
That’s what I thought too. Got the same email.
It didn’t seem like the reps really knew anything about the Bronco/reservation. I asked about changing the “trim level” and one thought I meant changing to an entirely different vehicle. This one checked and seemed to Just read from the websites...
They’ve obviously received a lot of interest through refundable $100 dollar deposits. But that’s not nearly as good as selling a large number of Broncos.
At the end of the day, the appeal of the Bronco is what it can do. And there are other capable vehicles in the market.
Competitors.
Not all...
This is exactly the kind of thing Ford needs to be looking out for in all this.
More of us have principles that we’ll follow over buying a thing.
Because at the end of the day, that’s just what a Bronco is. A thing.
