I have the confirmation email from 3 minutes after the reservation banks opened, but my Ford account says the 14th as well as the time stamp my dealer has.
If you want some noise reduction with the outer banks, you may be able to get those snap-on carpets that most cars come with. I imagine the bronco will have that for other trims as an option of either the rubber mats or carpet mats, so it may be available after purchase to put over the...
Carpet absorbs sound while rubber (and other hard, solid surfaces) reflect it.
Rubber can be used in sound-proofing, as long as there is no sound going around it (e.g. a sound-proof chamber). Carpet helps to stop echo (think acoustic panels in a recording studio).
Minimizing the echo with...
The "Start/Stop" button resembles the headlights with the accent line to the side as shown in the image attached.
Wondering what else is tucked away in this thing.
I read this right before posting, but I’m feeling like there may have been a misunderstanding or mix up in the information when it was made available.
I just updated and attached a picture to my first post on this thread showing the MIC top with some peculiar lines around the rear window panels...
Maybe I missed something, but looking through the many available photos as well as the CGI pictures, it seems that the MIC is the one with rear removable window panels and the painted top is solid.
Here’s the MIC.
I would be extremely upset at Ford if they had a separate reservation for the Warthog/Raptor.
that would just be a big F-U to everyone who was willing to jump on it and reserve early on (these people are also the most likely to buy the more expensive option and be big money makers for Ford)...
If the Raptor/Warthog is 2021 MY, all my discontent about the B&P, Fords inconsistencies and delays, etc. would go out the window and I would just sit down and smile while I hand over my money.
I do wanna note, I’m not trying to irk anyone. It’s fine if you don’t mind things as they are. I just know Ford pays attention to these forums and the people on here, and I want to voice how I feel (and I don’t have a Twitter).
It’s definitely a tough time to be releasing a refresh of an icon. But as a prospective owner, more information is definitely to be appreciated instead of teasing answers to simple questions.
Thats what gets to me. If they said “We’re going to launch B&P on November 10th” I’d be fine with that...
There’s the “by September” debacle, changed to “in September”, which could have been clarified earlier. Now with Ford just stating “this fall”.
Many pricing factors have not been disclosed.
etc.
I love Ford vehicles. Most of my vehicles have been Ford vehicles. but their communication feels...
We’ve lined up to buy a not-cheap suv from you.
We keep getting these cryptic responses when we ask straight forward questions regarding pricing, b&p, timing, etc.
Timelines we’re told, end up missed.
The Bronco is cool, but not playing games and not being flakey with your customers is even...
