I have never experienced any glare issues with my current OEM mirrors and the images are clear and crisp -- but I wish they were wide angle.
So, what is the difference between the two colors (blue vs gray) in your @Suma Performance mirrors?
That was my thought, too.
For automatic transmissions, is it possible the OP's tuning program to still be in the ECM, but the dealership has set the G.O.A.T. default to ECO mode on the tranny?
Yup, I understand that, and I do like the cool looking Stroppe paint scheme.
I was simply expressing my preference for an MT because I enjoy the interaction I get from the truck I am driving today, as I have on more than 80% of the cars I've owned.
However, if this had been about authenticity...
@Blackcat Yes!!
Without the MT, I have no interest in the Stroppe.
BUT, if the it came with the MT (even a 2.3 - which has plenty of power for me), I would buy one.
I also have a 24 HE 2-door MT with 21k miles.
Never had any problems starting or driving the Bronco.
It is a blast to drive on and off roads.
It's my daily driver and I've taken it on road trips to Florida.
In my test drives, I found the 2-door turning radius is tighter than the 4-door (good for...
Welcome to the group.
I'm from northern Massachusetts, just below Nashua NH.
My old gray horse has been kept stock, so I don't know of any mechanics that could help you.
Last November, a few of us from this group met up at Armor Ditch in Ossipee NH.
We had a blast and my Old Gray Horse came home...
Hey, I'm cutting them (and any other sponsors) some slack. Most of them also own Broncos. Maybe they're also curious owners like us, or maybe they're looking for some marketing data. Either way, this forum is free because there are sponsors. And just like any other posting on the forum, we...
Half way through the MY24 Heritage 2-door's production, Ford discontinued the removable hard top windows.
There was no explanation from Ford.
The top still has the fiberglass "lip" all around the window frame, but I haven't seen any Ford parts to enable conversion back to removable windows...
While the New Hampshire Off-Roadeo is just a few hours from home, last October I drove my Bronco to Tennessee. (Just like @Fastmc25 , my wife has no interest in off roading.) I wanted to see the Smokey Mountains but still learn techniques on terrain similar to my area (mountains, rocks, trees...
Chips in my windshields have come from passenger cars because the roads easily crumble in my part of the country.
Up here, late February into mid April are the worst times of the year on the roads for stone throwing.
And yes, large trucks are to be feared because they're cable of throwing such...
I had the same problem last month. It's to be expected up here in the northeast.
Just last month, SafeLite did a great job replacing my Bronco windshield. Eight years ago, they also did a great job replacing a windshield on my Mazda.
