Congrats on the schedule. Mine was similar but I went with the Soft Top trying to get a build quick. Ended up working out and ill get a hard top one day.
I know everyone has mixed feelings about Mike but did you try contacting Mike Levine or Jim Farley? They hangout on Twitter a good bit, you may be able to send one or both a message to see if they can help. Worth a shot if you havent.
The only thing holding you back in my opinion is the top. If you were 4 door soft top youd have a build date. That being said id get it if you want it. That isnt holding your order up.
I think itll go by priority code then. So the retail unit first, then stock units. But who knows really? Ford is like a magic eight ball. Sometimes you get a build and sometimes you get try again.
Its gotten to the point where it almost isn't what you build it is where you order from. Allocations are hurting the early orders almost as much as the constraints. To that end I ordered on 11-20, and had a build date on 12-9 because the dealer had an allocation left and I had not constraints.
This is exactly why I didnt use my local dealer for the Bronco order. They have their Demo 2 Door Badlands for 80k.
Went through Long McArthur and will not use anyone else for buying Ford from here on in.
Ordered a Soft Top myself after seeing all the issues with the Hard Top. Ended up getting a build date at the end of January and with any luck have it sometime before spring! Not going to lie though yours looks pretty good in the snow!
Right now I have a build date of 1-31, so if it doesnt change and I have it before April Ill be there. Probably wont have any mods done but at least I will have the Bronco there.
Ive got a montage of bourbons in my collection. Pappy is one of them, saving it for a special occasion. But I have 2 different Wellers Special and Full Proof, Eagle Rare, EH, Elijah 18. All bought at retail. It can be done, just takes a little more of a hunt. But I never get upset at the...
Currently own a 2.3 eco boost Ranger. And like everyone is saying let it warm up before you get into the boost. And when it does let the turbo loose, the fastest way to have turbo issues is to drive more "eco". Premium is great if you want to have more power, non ethanol gas is good as well. And...
