I like it, I'd get it if it was an option...also have the option to flip it on to capture your wheeling adventures, then easily sync to phone at the end of your trip wirelessly. Corvette has a version of this for track days.
No different than scraping/washing piles of mud off the top of a flat flared bronco. Those things will be mud magnets because nothing can drip off, it will just sit on top. Each have their own problems.
Well aware of the purpose of a plastic, replaceable flare. Just wanted the wide Raptor fender option, like, the couple hundred thousand current Raptor owners enjoy.
Good insight. This is the most logical answer. I had hoped (and seemed to read this) that they were trying to market the Bronco as more of a desert off-road vehicle than a tight trail vehicle. I was obviously wrong in the direction they chose to go with the design.
Just like with the F-150...
I think people are missing the point here, what I was hoping for, and I suspect others are too, is a true wider *fender* to cover the tire and track width, not a bolt-on *flare*, like the aftermarket (bushwacker) and Fraptor (Fake Raptor) crowd use.
It's probably just me though. There will be...
Why did Ford have to make them so terrible? They got it right with the Raptor and the Bronco R, why did they cheap out on the production version? Does anyone have any insight that we'll see a different version on the "Raptor" Bronco verision?

Vehicles I'm considering for a 2021 purchase to replace a 2013 Ford Explorer, in order of preference.
1. Bronco
2. Gladiator Mojave Edition
3. Tesla Model Y
4. Ford Mach E
Super bummed about those fenders and flares. Was really hoping the Raptor version, if this is it, would have wider fenders to tuck a wider tracked mid travel suspension. With those super wide flares it looks like a "Fraptor"......ugh.
