It seems like a stretch to say that engines will be shared between the next gen F-150 and Bronco. Personally, I would love to own a plug-in hybrid Bronco at launch, but I doubt we will get it. Jeep has already shown off their Wrangler Rubicon Plug-in Hybrid which will be a real production...

If the Ford offered this for the Bronco, I'd go for it. For me, I'll have to wait and see what the features of the Hard Top and Soft Top are.

It seems you're implying that, if you're saying the Sport is based on a vehicle 50+ years old and that's what you feel the Bronco is based on. The image I posted is meant to show that a mid-sized vehicle can have wider fenders and there is no real detriment to the off-road ability.
