Rilly! If I bought everything on my ceramic guy's recommendation list--none of which he has a financial interest in--it would have been 500 bucks. I spent about half of that, and the big ticket item was an Amish-made birch and poplar drying rack for the microfiber towels.
The video of the guy...
Hah! I don't think Steamboat objects to the 197 Dave Stamey singing cowboy songs on my stick! There have also been problems with loose fuses. Or software. Maybe some CSEE type (computer science electrical engineering) will chime in here. @Aman ?
For some reason all notifications stop unless you tune in and weigh in with at least a reaction. Then the floodgates open again.
I need something that's easier than soaping by hand. For one thing, I'm too short to reach the middle of the hood! I have to get my 6' 42 Long husband to stretch his...
Thanks for letting your 1/3 family know. My 2.3 Base Camp is rated to tow about 3500 lbs of prayers, candles, and good wishes for an easy procedure and terrific results.
What kind of pressure washer are you using? Our ceramic guy did the first post wash free 2 weeks after coating; we're doing baby's first home wash next week.
Have you looked into foam guns + garden hose or the pricier foam cannons + pressure washer? I'm probably going w/ the former, esp since the issue is the correct pH neutral soap post ceramic coating.

When you search the Ford site for "running boards" you get a page with "rock rails" and "tube steps" all for the same price, 2-dr or 4-dr. I better get clear w/ our dealer that I'm getting tube steps, which is actually a step that I can use to get into the cab.
Are these the same as "running boards"? Our dealer is giving us rb's from the Customer Satisfaction funds and I'm assuming all 120# of me will be able to step on them.

Also got "mirror chrome" script badges from OCDplug...
Did you get your oil analysis back yet? (Maybe I missed it; it's hard to keep up here. Seems that now that everyone has their trucks, we're in the hard-core auto nerd add-on phase.. While I Love reading about your projects, "I'm just trying to do my jigsaw puzzle [and get my running boards &...
Mirror Chrome script from theOCDPlug . In the photo it's mirroring a lot of bushes, but it looks silvery and chrome-y out on the street.. I like the way the aluminum wheels and the aluminum bronco "pick up" the metallic luster.
Time will tell how well it sticks to the ceramic coating.
