Passenger side went on easily with the bracket pre bent to match the other side. The part to be careful is removing the plastic clips. I used a little more finesse on the passenger side and it made the job a lot easier

I broke out the old giant vice and bent the driver side bracket. It now fits pretty well. I had to use the supplied clip as the original Ford one wouldn't go in and latch. Passenger side tomorrow

I just tried to install mine and the brackets were the same. There is no way it will reach the lower back tab.

You're right. After I posted that I tried to fold the seat down a few days later and it doesn't fit.

I just came back from a local body shop. There was 2022 two door sitting out front that had very similar damage to the OP's truck. The guy hit a tree. Bent frame, totaled. I don't want to post a pic since it's not mine. According to the body shop our Broncos don't fair very well in these types...

Yup, Lemon Law it. Had a friend who had a F150 a couple years ago with unfixable problems like yours. Got all his money back and got a new truck with no problems since.
