I say the hubcaps, that way the horses look like theyre rolling down the street.
Not sure where else on the exterior the horses would look good. I think one on the tailgate is sufficient. Put one up at work, to show the love.
Interesting. Just a characteristic of the 5 link setup maybe? Great video. I remember RK saying a while back that they were working on big things, game changers for the Bronco.
Is that "kick" the modified roll center after lifting the Broncos? After lifting mine I noticed more body roll(no rear sway bar), until I added the RJ track bar bracket, and made an incredible difference in handling.
Good point.
A co-worker scored a 23 WT with ADD bumpers, ICON lift kit, wheels with 37's, body wrap, ALL THE LIGHTS, for damn near MSRP. Traded in at 6k after dropping what, 17k worth of parts on it.
No Dana 60 with portals and 38's and a BD light bar? Weak.
It's a nice ride, and a good color! Nothing wrong with "budget builds", so to speak. If I saved the money I spent on my parts, I could have purchased one set of coilovers.
All the time. I was chatting with a co worker yesterday, and the big shop door was open, and I just stared at it while he was talking about dogs or models cars or something. So, guilty. I love the Bronco.
I saved up for about a year, shopped around and found a dealer that wasn't tacking on non-negotiable accessories, and kept my build simple. Stock Badlands with the mod bumper, brush guard, and row your own gearbox. No way I would try to buy a new one now. Prices are unreal, not to mention the...
I scored a Kobalt 1/2" cordless from the Snap On truck for cheap. I keep that in my tool bag. I do have a Milwaukee 1/2" cordless fork work, when I'm too lazy to grab the air hose.
I've heard of maybe one 2.3 failure, and a couple 2.3 turbo failures, but that's all. 2.7 valves were short lived, and some cam phaser issues since then.
I'm more worried about my screeching synchros than my 2.3 grenading.
I assume the quality of the parts used, and being built in USA. Maybe Baja Designs is suited for actual race cars or baja trucks, and might be overkill for a daily driver.
I bought a set of amber fogs from Black Oak LED. Built in Florida. Pretty decent pricing.
Right, thanks for the reminder. I saved the video for later as the kids were watching Spiderman.
Is that rear mount bound up at all after the drop? Or is it negligible since it has a rubber bushing? Either way, kit looks great.
