It will be nowhere near $1895. That was the price over and above the cost of the included soft top. Retail, over the parts counter, I wouldn't expect any less than $4-5k plus freight plus cost to paint since it would more than likely ship in primer like the Jeep top does.
Honestly, I don't want the white accents at all. Have never liked them. Just make the squared off flares standard and let me get a mod top on my Badlands. The grille is easy enough to swap.
They've had a couple of years to finalize the design and make any tweaks behind the scenes. Heck, they could have been building an inventory of them for awhile now for all we know. I'm not sure why they didn't go ahead and bring it back quicker than MY23 to take some of the heat off the MIC issues.
Thank you for the update @Zach@Granger . I've just now, barely, cracked the top 300 😆. I'll keep letting my order ride but glad I picked up a Wrangler to take some of the trips I'd planned for this summer.
100% agree. On old trucks, white paint on trim, grilles and what not was used because it was cheap and they had to put a barrier on the metal of some kind. At a passing glance, it kinda, sorta might fool you for the chrome that the upper level trims got. Same for the tops, they were white...
As was pointed out over on the Ranger forum that doesn't actually appear to be the US spec RRaptor. The US market one may still get a little more lift and possibly 35s. I'm actually glad to see the Raptor in a midsize tho. Full-size trucks have gotten too huge over the last 10-20 years. If the...
The Ranger Raptor has existed in other markets almost as long as the F150 Raptor. It's not diluting the brand when it has more history than the Bronco...
It looks to be on 33s but could easily fit 35s. At this point, lacking a build date on my Bronco, I may skip it entirely and jump from my Wrangler to the RRaptor.
I'm in a bunch of Wrangler and Bronco forums and FB groups. It's kinda toxic coming from both sides honestly. Usually not the guys that actually wheel as much. The lifestyle crowd tho...
I quit worrying about the time it became obvious that others could walk in off the street at high volume dealers and jump the line on reservation holders. I already executed my backup plan by buying a 2dr Wrangler. Whenever my Bronco does finally get built it's up to Ford to win me back from...
That painted outer bevel on the grille is how it should have been done from the factory on the Bronco. Not a fan of the DV8 bumper itself but the chrome does work. I'll always have a place in my heart for "soft 8s" wheels. I just put a set on my retro inspired 2dr Rubicon I'm building up while I...
At this point I don't even care. MY21, 22, 23, 24? I bought a 2dr Rubicon that was almost identical in configuration to my 2dr Badlands order. I've not made a single change to try and get my Bronco sooner and won't except for color as necessary as the model years roll by. I want what I want...
Huh? Almost all the the allocations for the Raptor went to early reservation holders who swapped their existing order for a Raptor. So, in theory anyways, their number to get built was going to get pulled sooner than later. Not a whole lot of skipping past there...
I still have my order in for my Bronco but I'm not waiting any more to take some of the trips I'd planned once it arrives. Just put wheels and 35s on the JLR I picked up in the mean time this week.
