I was really looking towards the Gladiator when FCA confirmed it going to production, but the long wheelbase and cab proportion makes the whole package look awkward. It really needs to be on 35's to look right for me.
I wish FCA would have brought the J6 Concept to production as well as a...
I'm in the same mindset as @damarble. Worse case scenario, it sucks and someone will find a substitute Tremec that can be used with a custom bellhousing and driveshaft. Regardless, the manual transmission is the only reason why I'm still in this race.
Wait until you find out the overall footprint dimensions for that OHV Hemi is actually smaller than the Ecoboost V6. Chances are that 392 probably fits in the JL's bay even easier than the current Pentastar V6 it's got.
Looks like someone over there messed up the listing. These are all Bronco Sports, you can tell by the wheelbase, engine and transmission specifications.
Assuming the turbo is the same unit in the Ranger, boost doesn't really come on strong until about 2700 RPM, and at highway speeds (70-75 MPH), the engine RPM should be right below the boost threshold at around 2000-2300 RPM, depending on your wheel sizing...so it should be staying out of the...
If you're talking about a 2.7L in trims lower than a Badlands without Sasquatch, sure. Another factor besides the engine and tire size that is going to hurt the Bronco is also the final ratio, most F-150's have either 3.31 or 3.55 gears compared to a Badlands or Sasquatch's much shorter 4.70 gear.
The more I read into this, I am realizing this is really just Ford's spin on GM's Infotainment 3 systems.
GM Infotainment 3 Plus (Ford's Connected Navigation) = No built-in maps, FordPass subscription is for getting all navigation/map data/real-time traffic updates/online location searches.
GM...
I'm pretty sure the subscription is in regards to live traffic mapping/online map searches. If you don't have a subscription, you can still use the built in navigation but just not able to see live traffic on the roads. This is how the Audi MMI and GM's new Infotainment 3 systems work.
The configurator could use some reordering; it would make more sense for the Mid/High/Lux equipment packages to be selected before the a la carte options, so you know what you get upfront and not accidentally replace or remove something that already comes with those packages.
Have they actually offer this exact rate? My experience with loans is you get one or the other. Yeah, they can offer 2.89%, but it might be only up to 60 months, or you can go up to an 84 month loan term, but the interest rate might be 5%.
I would be surprised if anyone would offer a sub-4% APR for a 84 month loan term. Even if that's the case, you're still paying at least $3200 in interest on a $30K loan at the end of it.
Ford gave us a delivery timeline of Spring 2021 so I'm not expecting a Bronco in my garage until then; it's not going to take me more than an hour to figure out what I want to order so they can take their time to figure out the B&P as long as they want.
I'm jelly.
