  1. Jeep Gladiator Struggles to Tow

I was really looking towards the Gladiator when FCA confirmed it going to production, but the long wheelbase and cab proportion makes the whole package look awkward. It really needs to be on 35's to look right for me. I wish FCA would have brought the J6 Concept to production as well as a...
  2. Bronco Aftermarket Wheels | what options do you want?

Looks like the Fifteen 52 Analogue wheels have already been called out for steelie look-alike options, so I’ll put up the KMC Roswell:
  3. Getrag 7 speed manual built in China

I'm in the same mindset as @damarble. Worse case scenario, it sucks and someone will find a substitute Tremec that can be used with a custom bellhousing and driveshaft. Regardless, the manual transmission is the only reason why I'm still in this race.
  4. V8 HEMI 392 Jeep Wrangler production model announcement teaser. Will Ford answer with V8 Bronco?

Plumbing for the turbos. You've got a cold and hot side piping to run from the turbos to the intercooler.
  5. V8 HEMI 392 Jeep Wrangler production model announcement teaser. Will Ford answer with V8 Bronco?

Wait until you find out the overall footprint dimensions for that OHV Hemi is actually smaller than the Ecoboost V6. Chances are that 392 probably fits in the JL's bay even easier than the current Pentastar V6 it's got.
  6. Dealer in FL will sell you any Bronco today with VIN’s already!

Looks like someone over there messed up the listing. These are all Bronco Sports, you can tell by the wheelbase, engine and transmission specifications.
  7. My driving impressions for the 2.3 vs 2.7L engines

Assuming the turbo is the same unit in the Ranger, boost doesn't really come on strong until about 2700 RPM, and at highway speeds (70-75 MPH), the engine RPM should be right below the boost threshold at around 2000-2300 RPM, depending on your wheel sizing...so it should be staying out of the...
  8. I just purchased a Colorado ZR2 so l'm out

265/65R17's. Unfortunately the ZR2s can't clear 33" without at least a 1.25" front level kit and some trimming on the fender well.
  9. Daily Driving a 2 Door?

LOL, a 2 door Bronco would be a Rolls Royce compared to my old Samurai, and I made that work as a daily for five years.
  10. Best way to get 37" and a 2-3" lift?

Both axles have the same ratio, you need to have them match in any 4WD system.
  11. Are Raised White Lettering on Tires back?

Definitely going with OWL after wearing out the factory tires on the Bronco. The last vehicle I had OWL was my ZR2.
  12. Article claims Bronco MPG 21 City 26 HWY

If you're talking about a 2.7L in trims lower than a Badlands without Sasquatch, sure. Another factor besides the engine and tire size that is going to hurt the Bronco is also the final ratio, most F-150's have either 3.31 or 3.55 gears compared to a Badlands or Sasquatch's much shorter 4.70 gear.
  13. 3 year nav subscription -- for all GPS stuff or just the trail maps?

The more I read into this, I am realizing this is really just Ford's spin on GM's Infotainment 3 systems. GM Infotainment 3 Plus (Ford's Connected Navigation) = No built-in maps, FordPass subscription is for getting all navigation/map data/real-time traffic updates/online location searches. GM...
  14. 3 year nav subscription -- for all GPS stuff or just the trail maps?

I'm pretty sure the subscription is in regards to live traffic mapping/online map searches. If you don't have a subscription, you can still use the built in navigation but just not able to see live traffic on the roads. This is how the Audi MMI and GM's new Infotainment 3 systems work.
  15. 2021 Bronco BUILD & PRICE Configurator Is Finally Live (For Real)!! Share your build inside.

The configurator could use some reordering; it would make more sense for the Mid/High/Lux equipment packages to be selected before the a la carte options, so you know what you get upfront and not accidentally replace or remove something that already comes with those packages.
  16. Your Build: Pre and Post B&P

Doors and Trim: 2 Door Badlands Color: Velocity Blue Engine and Transmission: 2.3L Ecoboost 7 Speed Manual Roof: Shadow Black Modular Sasquatch:No Packages: Lux Interior: Marine Grade Vinyl Options: Towing Pkg DIO: None
  17. 2021 Bronco NOT Eligible For X-Plan (Official Document Confirmation) [Update: Confirmed by Ford]

Have they actually offer this exact rate? My experience with loans is you get one or the other. Yeah, they can offer 2.89%, but it might be only up to 60 months, or you can go up to an 84 month loan term, but the interest rate might be 5%.
  18. 2021 Bronco NOT Eligible For X-Plan (Official Document Confirmation) [Update: Confirmed by Ford]

I would be surprised if anyone would offer a sub-4% APR for a 84 month loan term. Even if that's the case, you're still paying at least $3200 in interest on a $30K loan at the end of it.
  19. Positivity thread!

Ford gave us a delivery timeline of Spring 2021 so I'm not expecting a Bronco in my garage until then; it's not going to take me more than an hour to figure out what I want to order so they can take their time to figure out the B&P as long as they want. I'm jelly.
