I ordered the tow package because it was cheap and something I felt was a “better to have and not need” situation. I will likely rarely tow anything. Hitch will be a bike rack mostly.
I kick myself every day for selling mine. I replaced the straight six with a 327, replaced wiring front to rear, all kinds of new goodies (radiator, alternator, etc etc.) did all the work myself.
Scarcity is going to become more and more of an issue. I had a 1968 Camaro in 1997 that, at 29 years old was considered a classic. 1st gen Broncos (and my Camaro I never should’ve sold) are now over 50 years old. Crazy.
It’s the same reason a 3/4 ton is rated to tow more than a 1/2 ton. Beefier frame, longer wheelbase, larger brakes. I’ve towed the same camper with a half ton (F-150 with 3.5 eco and heavy duty payload package) and 3/4 ton (F-250 power stroke) and the difference is night and day. Someone else...
I don’t know why dealers (mine included) are requiring deposits. If someone doesn’t end up buying their bronco, the dealership will be able to sell it in 3.4 seconds.
I hope so. Hope they don’t go the route of only doing remote start via Ford Pass. Wife’s Mercedes only has remote start through app and it never works
Does anyone know if there are any other Ford models already sporting the medium sandstone interior? I was at Ford and was able to compare race to rapid red on f150, but forgot to ask about interior.
