Never seen a speed limit attached to any soft top position, but Iāve hit the speed limiter on mine and itās fine š. IMO straps only help for all the way down, while on uneven ground for squeaks, and even then arenāt a cure all.

Yes, those are yellow DD covers on white DD flood ditches in that pic. I tried them yesterday in fog. While better than white for sure, I would not expect flood lenses to cut very far.
