Once I got the unit, it's pretty clear it's just a vessel for the software upload. It would not be great as a display for parameters. It's small and not awesome
I waited 4 months for RCIs. Was I unhappy? Yes. Are they rock solid? Yes. Is the build quality top notch? Yes. Easy to install? Yes. Would I buy them again? Yes.
You choose.
The FP is just the Borla with straight tips instead of slanted down. There is another new FP that is just like the Borla but without tips at all. Just pipes.
Personally I think the borla climber seems like the win.
Does anyone have the Bestop weather seal for the back available? I need to get a pic or the specs so I can source something similiar. Seems Bestop is on backorder and it was $50 from them which seems pretty steep.
Here is the part # but I can't find the specs.
Seal, Belt
Part #596.65
Thanks!
While I certainly like this better than the current FP/ Borla options. I wonder which sound level it is.
Also I don't think it offers anything over the Borla Climber, which I think appears to be the best option.
@Bushwhacker I decided to just install myself. It was literally less than 15 minutes and super simple. I'll fight the fight later if I have to for installing myself.
Is there any need to leave the FP/Procal box connected? Is there benefit or does it just look cool/attract attention?
I know you can unplug it, I'm just asking is there a reason to leave it plugged in.
Yes. At the beginning it will say, X Bronco profile was been found, do you want to use this profile etc. I'm not infront of it, but you get the gist. Say no and try again.
