Finished my JTop install and also got my Lange Originals hoist swapped from my old 2 door setup to 4-door duty. It’s plenty secure but I’m always thinking the worst when I park under it.
I found these kits great. They’re at the other end of the $20 Amazon spectrum. But used the IP50 on the hardtop bolts and it was exactly the right tool for the job

I realize some of these responses, mine included, were pretty focused on towing. If that’s a requirement, I’d look at the Ranger Raptor. Same-ish platform as the Bronco and stupid fun. I used to own one.
I figured I would cross post here. Used both the blaze and genesis plates to give myself loads of layout options.

A note on the rugged radio one. My midland antennas are too wide at the base to fit the recess in the mount. I picked up the RR antenna and like it. Might paint it black at some point.
Just wanting to share that I used the XBB solution and it's working great. Read about it here
High Beam Trigger - XBB OBD2 Relay - It Works - Detailed Overview
So - This all started with wanting to trigger my light bar with the high beam switch. I've seen many of you wanting to do this. And as many know - Highbeams are triggered by the CANBUS - not just a simple wire to tap. Thus started my somewhat expensive journey to solve this problem.
I'll just...
From a previous car I had a Scangauge3
So - I went about figuring out where to mount it. I really didn't want it up high above the cowl of the dash.
I made some simple brackets out of aluminum that would be screwed down by the bronco plate in our consoles.
At first I wanted to epoxy the...
Thanks - I really didn't want to have to look up what color belongs to what up fitter anymore. I guess this solves that problem. I have the Genesis Offroad plate coming for over the fuse box and that's where a ground bar and Garmin power switch are going to go.
I have the blaze bracket. 2 bus bars , one for six and one for the unpowered wires.
I also like to use rubberized hose routing clamps as they give soft circles to run wires through and on.
I went with the ford performance b and c brace. Removed almost all hardtop rattles.
I wish I would have driven it with just the b brace and then with both.
Honestly it’s worth a try. If you can get some improvement with just the B brace I think you’re winning.
