Yes sir. The 4 round ones are your parking sensors only (front and rear bumper). ACC is separate, under the front bumper, center. You're getting just a little interference there I'd bet. See if you can raise that plate up. Good luck.

Correct. The sensors you relocated are parking sensors. They work at low speed and start to chirp and illuminate on the dash if you're at risk of hitting something. They have nothing to do with the ACC unit under the bumper. Black rectangular radar box. It sounds to me that your winch plate or...

Yep MOLLE is separate. If you're debating, start with one or the other and see if that meets your needs. Thanks for your Service.

Parking sensors are different than the ACC. If you're getting parking sensor errors, that is different than a cruise control error. You said "intermittent collision sensor error." The parking sensors are not part of the ACC or collision avoidance. If your problem is ACC-related, see the...

That's up to the vendors. My guess, too heavy for that. You'd need a different mounting system to accommodate the added weight and provide the necessary support.

Out of the box, the shelf is held in place by ty-wraps/zip ties. Just a shipping thing so it doesn't pop up while you're installing it. Once everything is installed and tight, cut them so it functions normally.

I think that would be an awesome combination! Having a rigid panel like this gives you so many options. And they way the 'cut' theirs gives you endless slots, latch points, etc. Far and away greater than a molle panel.

Great question. The struts keep it in the up position. They are very strong. Takes both hands to pull it down. When down, there is also a latch on either side.
  9. Mountains 2 Metal Rear Interior Cargo Tray Install & Photos

So this one is a real easy way to gain some extra space in back up and off the floor. @Mountains2Metal makes some very high quality stuff. Their fit and finish is top notch and I've been very satisfied with their parts and even more so with their customer service. Nick is hyper-responsive, and...

If your winch carrier is too low, you'll get that, radar bouncing back, etc. I used jack stands and a moving blanket to really push it up, hold it up, then tighten it. Even then, the top of the ACC is just about an 1/8" higher than the lowest point to the JCR pan. If you're using the JCR...

Yea, that's my '85 Bronco w/ a 4" and 37 Mickey Thompsons. I miss that truck. Back to the OP, dude! What a great install. Great way to use one antenna and a duplexer. I'm a big fan of that Comet antenna too. Very clean. Love that light switch pack too, nice touch. Your SWRs are damn near...
  12. Midland MXT575 GMRS 2-Way Radio Install & Photos *SWR Report*

All good brother! Love to see your install photos! That’s what its all about. Sounds like you’ve got some workable antennas with decent results. For this install and out purposes, you should be good to go! Glad it helped. Thanks for the reply.

This is ridiculous! No, they cannot be oriented that way the graphics are not relevant to the mix and match theories he's posted. My OP was meant to instruct on the install. I specifically stayed away from antenna theory for this very reason. Here's what to do. Get a good antenna (ground...
  14. Midland MXT575 GMRS 2-Way Radio Install & Photos *SWR Report*

I really did try to bite my tongue. This is NOT what my post is about. I disagree with your assertion about 1/2 and 1/4 wave. 1/4 wave does NOT get the "best reception" in "as many situations as possible." And there is a collinear correlation between reception and transmission! Interesting use...
  15. Midland MXT575 GMRS 2-Way Radio Install & Photos *SWR Report*

Antenna placement is more impactful on radiation than antenna element movement. Shorter antennas (depending on the operating frequency) do not have "broader directivity" if I understand your meaning. I don't follow the "main lobe offset/null spots." We're talking about directional radiation...
  16. JCR Offroad Winch Plate/License Plate Bracket/Camera Relo/Zeon 10S Install & Photos

Hey, so I bought four plugs, one each to connect to the stock plug where the sensor connected and one each to plug into the two sensors. Three wires each. With your background, you'll have no trouble wiring them up- solder, wrap, etc. You won't have to cut the factory wiring out if you do...
  17. JCR Offroad Winch Plate/License Plate Bracket/Camera Relo/Zeon 10S Install & Photos

Sure thing. Start with the sensors. I DID NOT cut the looms loose as in the video. I pulled out enough of the plastic holders to allow me to get to the two sensors to unplug them. Once they're out, you'll use the rubber rings that came with the JCR to reinstall them. As for the wiring. I...

Yea, sorry. Just updated the post. Something went FUBAR with the post. Here it is again. It's a full swing, more than 90 degrees. There is also a front-on shot in the OP that shows it open. Let me know if you need anything else. @ICUGAZN it is a JCR...
