Yes..The spacers just lift but don’t change the spring rate. Depending on what your needs are, there are several suspension systems available for this. Most of them have no released their rear springs for heavy weights in the rear but if that is not important to you, some options today are:

Still new in box so no pics of “on my Bronco” but you can research images for this rack. New in box, stored in my garage and waiting for a good home.
This rack is one of the original 100 racks sold and will be 4” vertically shorter than what you can purchase today. Reason for making rack taller...

I plan to unless I hear from forum a big “don’t do it”. I pinged the forum once and not really anything on the bushing so I figured I’d do it. Sure you might be stressing elsewhere but can’t be worse than the current design. If the steering rack is gonna go, it’s gonna go...
I’d just mask and rattle can it. Can’t hurt and will help fend off rust. Just allow to dry in warm space for long time and will adhere for a long time.
Sure…makes sense. When you find your unicorn wheel, nothing else will do. Mine is the Black Rhino Abram and luckily they offered 0 offset. Not my tires, but a good shot nonetheless
