Thanks for the compliment.
The wheels are Alpha's Delta (17x8.5, +35mm offset) and the tires are Falken A/T3Ws (LT285/70R17, C load). They fit well and I don't think they'll rub anywhere, but I won't know for sure until I take it off road (hopefully this Saturday).
The link to update the tracker doesn't seem to be working. So...
Please update me to "Delivered" (10/29, one day earlier than Ford's estimated 10/30 to 11/5 window)! My 2 door Black Diamond was delivered today to Young Ford in Morgan Utah. I'll be picking it up Monday--unless they accept my...
I’m as close as you can get to being an owner (sitting at the dealer waiting to sign the paperwork now). I’m looking out for those still on dirt mountain. Also, didn’t say to sweep it under the rug either. If you have one and have problems, let you dealer know—just don’t blast it all over the forum.
Another couple things….
Hard top sliding window replacements (like those on a FJ80 Land Cruiser).
Steel or aluminum molle panel for the rear hatch. Not sure I’m a fan of Ford’s soft version.
Yes! Especially the passenger side one by the door. It’s pretty much useless as is, unless the seat is moved way forward. Not sure if there is a way to work around the curtain airbags, but an option on the A pillar or above the door would be awesome.

I vote to shut down this thread. Let’s get all of our Bronco’s out of the current purgatory, before we continue thrashing the MIC 2.0 and get Ford’s attention (if we already haven’t).
Factor in the extra cost for the 2.7L (including interest paid if you finance it) and I’m pretty sure you’re not gaining anything financially, at least for a long time.
Just give up like I did last week and start shopping for your plan B. Then hopefully you’ll get a “built” email like I did Monday morning and a “shipped” email like I did this morning.
2 door BD, 2.3L, Auto , Tow
7/14 reservation (not that that means much anymore)
7/15 blend
10/10 built
10/12...
I disagree. Open diffs don't necessarily suck. Open diffs can teach you how to pick the best lines and develop off great roading skills. I just pulled out the locker in my 1998 Cherokee before I'll give it to my 16 yr old son. My reasoning, it will force him to develop basic trail driving...
Why wouldn't I. Personal principles I guess. If I get to the point that I don't want it. I'll certainly give forum members an opportunity to buy it from me, as long as I don't loose anything.
I feel really bad for Granger (and all the small classy dealerships like them), and all the reservation holders that Ford is totally screwing over. My Bronco is built (still on DM) and should be delivered by the end of the year to a small Utah dealership. So this 2022 and beyond allocation...
I don’t, but will consider that if my salesman can’t get any info either.
I’ve set myself a soft deadline that if there is no news from Ford by November 1, I will order a JL. Hope it doesn’t come to that but I’m sick of waiting for a fictitious vehicle.
Another morning, another disappointment. Ford has sent me absolutely no communication since June 26th when they informed me that my Bronco production date had changed to the week of July 12th. It was (supposedly) built July 16th. Delays due to parts shortages and even the MIC top fiasco I can...
Speaking of grab handles…. Ford’s placement isn’t ideal IMO. The passenger side handle on the center column isn’t bad but the handle on the right side of the dash is pretty much useless. It needs to extend a couple inches or more out from the dash. Better yet it needs to be either on the A...
I know. Saying something negative is bad. Combine that with a comparison to a Jeep and it's unforgivably bad. Oh well.
From what I saw, I think that SAS made a big difference. I intentionally chose the Badlands with the 33s, both for the additional challenge and because I felt it would give me...
I never said otherwise.
I’ll resist the urge to correct myself. Thanks for pointing out my lack of command of the English language. Did I say that right? :)
