  1. 2 Door Cargo Area Pocket—TP Dispenser or what?

It fit’s so perfectly, that either the pocket was designed for the hammock or vice versa!
  2. 2 Door Cargo Area Pocket—TP Dispenser or what?

Dang! Dang! You’re right. The hammock fits perfectly. TP will too.
  3. 2 Door Cargo Area Pocket—TP Dispenser or what?

I’m in the planning stage for customizing my 2 door BD. In particular, off road and camping gear storage. In the cargo area there is this pocket. The size and shape screams, “put a roll of TP in me”, but there has to be a better use. I’m hoping for some good ideas for how to best use that space.
  4. Show me your Black Diamond Bronco's!

The wheels are Alpha’s Delta (17x8.5 +35mm) and the tires are Falken AT3Ws (285/70R17). It’s my first set of Falken tires and so far I’m positively impressed.
  5. Show me your Black Diamond Bronco's!

    As requested.
  6. Black Diamond Bronco Thread

I had the same mindset as you, when I chose to drive the only non-SAS Bronco in my group, and I took the same approach to not use the front locker and disconnect. Driving that 4 door BL confirmed what I was thinking—that a 2 door BD with the 2.3 and 33” tires will go anywhere a 4 door SASed...
  7. Black Diamond Bronco Thread

The 4 door Badlands I drove at the Moab Offrodeo was a non-sas. Had the 33” KO2s. It was very capable (I never needed the front locker or sway bar disconnect), but I kept bashing the stupid transmission brace on what I consider small rocks and ledges. It was particularly bad on the downhill...
  8. Black Diamond Bronco Thread

I’ve had my 2 door BD for a month now and can say it is capable and fun off road. Before I elaborate, it’s important to note that I have the 2.3 with the 10 speed and advance t-case. I also had the dealer swap out the wheels and tires to 33” (285/70R17) Falken AT3Ws. After driving it around...

    It has both.
  10. Black Diamond Bronco Thread

That would be a 4 door Black Diamond. Go for it!
  11. 4 Door MIC hardtop with roof rails - can't get them off.

Try slipping a couple pieces of cardboard between the metal clips and the MIC. Then lift it off. The card board keeps the clips from slipping back under the MIC.
  12. 2.3L really needs to be tuned better

Reminds me of one of my favorite quotes.
  13. Poll: Reason for Ordering A Bronco

I voted “other”. Where as I’ve always wanted a first gen Bronco, we’ve been Chevy and Jeep loyalists. What started us on the journey to own a Bronco was the way Ford responded to the pandemic. Early in 2020 when other companies we’re leveraging the pandemic for profit, Ford stepped up to...

She’s stock other than the wheels and tires. They’re LT285/70R17s.
  15. Ultimate Black Diamond Non-Sasquatch pics thread

We took our new BD Bronco off-road for the first time yesterday. Wow! I’m really impressed with the ride and handling! It was a blast to race over the rough desert roads and through the mud holes.
  16. Bronco Off-Roadeo Photo Competition

I’m so spoiled to wheel in Moab any time I want, that I didn’t take more than these two pictures. They’re not win worthy but fun to share anyway!

They are “6-ply”, but more importantly LT (light truck) tires with a C load rating. The General Tire ATx is a solid tire and usually rates equal to or slightly better than the more popular BFG KO2s. I run them on my off road camp trailer and have had no issues.
  18. Ultimate Black Diamond Non-Sasquatch pics thread

Ouch that is pricey, but they will look awesome! I was considering Mickey Thompson's 33x12.50 R17 (D Load) Baja ATs, but decided to go with a different, less expensive, and easier to find tire. I think a D load tire will be a great in between tire for the Bronco. Just wish there were more...

@Hkak45. Sounds like you know what works best for you, and are pretty adamant about it. So the following is aimed more at members that may be trying to figure out what will be best for them. I off-road A LOT, and routinely run LT C load (6 ply) tires without any sidewall issues. There’s a lot...
