  1. What is the appeal of off-roading?

Same reason for myself that activities like judo are fun. It's meeting the people and being part of a great community. I've been hurt several times practicing judo, but keep coming back as much as I can. Also, the knowledge with how to tackle certain obstacles. So that way if I encounter them on...
  2. Got Stuck in Desert for Hours Because Bronco 4x4 System got Temporarily Disabled for no Obvious Reason

I've went pretty hard-up muddy hills. I wonder if certain GOAT modes make this less likely to happen.
  3. Best Amazon Buys

I've utilized it several times now. Mostly for electric blanket use and charging multiple devices. No issues with the unit thus far.
  4. Best Amazon Buys

Just to add to this. I needed less power and really like the EcoFlow that is on big sale right now too Amazon.com : EF ECOFLOW Portable Power Station RIVER 2 Pro, 768Wh LiFePO4 Battery, 70 Min Fast Charging, 4X800W (X-Boost 1600W) AC Outlets, Solar Generator for Outdoor Camping/RVs/Home Use...
  5. Eibach Pro Lift Kit Springs now available for Badlands Non-Sasquatch Broncos

Looking at these for the expected front-end droop from an ARB Summit & Winch weight. Unsure if there would be a better option without majorly changing the suspension system.
  6. 2.7 Ecoboost oil pump belt or chain?

Man I love watching I Do Cars. The guy that does the presentations is great!
  7. How did Goodyear get this contract

Funny thing here. Mine was a misbuild. I had the Sasquatch front driver strut on my vehicle with the badlands front strut on the passenger front (my order was a badlands non-sas). Way less articulation on the Sasquatch strut due to the spring difference. Didn't know this until about 10 k miles...
  8. Lowes is getting into the winch business

With the synth line that 12,000 is significantly cheaper than the comparable APEX Badlands @ Harbor Freight. That being said I'd probably still go with the HF one, just waiting on a big sale again. Never heard of these ones.
  9. Bronco Raptors Off Roading in Northern WI *Video*

Need to post the cleaning techniques next. Haha, took me hours to scrap all the mud off my badlands last time!
  10. Undercoating "How To" for Offroaders (Video)

The reviews were great for the one near me. The staff was also very friendly. Before I went with Krown I looked up reviews of rust inhibitors, and the Krown product seemed to perform as advertised. As for me oil drops that only happened for about the first two weeks for me. They also explained...
  11. Undercoating "How To" for Offroaders (Video)

I got mine done at Krown. Was only 160 for a full application. Is supposed to be done annually though.
  12. 50 shades of changes Bronco build

Really love the color choices! Excellent job ✌️
  13. Ford Releases 7 Pin Tow Wiring for Factory Installation

Yeah, for the pop up camper my parents gave me (Fleetwood neon). It has a 7 pin connector & brakes, but weighs just under 1000 lbs. Thinking I will never really need the brakes for that application. Also, from what I have gathered the brake controller does not require programming.
  14. Ford Releases 7 Pin Tow Wiring for Factory Installation

So reading into this. Looks like the best bet is to use the Ford installation for the lumen 4/7 kit. Then as needed buy and install the redarc brake controller (or utilize a curt echo).
  15. Worst Accessories so far?

Tbh, I kinda low key want one because of the window chips and A-pillar chips. That being said I know I would be disappointed 😂
  16. 16,000 miles in 6 months - Moab, Ouray, AVL, etc.

Love the write-up man! Also if you don't mind, what winch mount is that for the capable bumper? Haha, nevermind I found it. JCR, looks great!
  17. *Removed*

Just got mine back after being 'repaired' for 104 days. At the 90-day mark we started threatening a lawyer. Mostly due to incompetence in communication between the insurance company & the repair facility. That will probably be the most annoying part of the process. My wife was calling the...
  18. Problems with K02s?

Second this, had to learn to be very careful when turning in rain. The rear end tends to slide out very easy (on pavement). I have heard the K03 may have addressed this issue with the new channeling.
  19. 2.3L EcoBoost® I-4 Engine vs 2.7L EcoBoost® V6 Engine... not sure which one?

For off-roading something I would have liked to know when choosing the 2.7l engine is that there are frame support braces added to the frame. These hang lower than the frame itself, and I (along with others) found that I needed to add skidplates to them. That being said the 2.7l is great. The...
  20. What made you choose Bronco over Jeep Wrangler?

Recently had a rental 2021 Willys Gladiator in AZ (anniversary trip with the wife). Big standout was the narrowness for both her and I. We are not big people (I am 5' 8" and she 5' 6" average weight). But the footwell room was nearly non-existent, especially for the passenger. However, on narrow...
