You don't need to generate your PIN until your ready to sign the purchase contract. Its not needed for reservations or when converting reservation to the order. At contract signature time at pickup and it only takes 15 minutes to go online and generate it. WAIT UNTIL YOUR READY TO PICKUP YOUR...

This worked for two of my kids. One with an Integral, and one with a 350z, it definitely cuts time available to text way down. Especially from a stop and coming up to a stop. Verified from their GPS and T-Mobile text time. It does help!

You can switch dealers when you convert from reservation to an order. The order window will open up and you call Ford and tell them the dealer change desired BEFORE you order. Then a few days later, you get a confirmation of change at which point you convert your reservation into an order...

One email from Ford not dealer, second reservation three hours later, one from dealer but not Ford yet. Both show in your Ford.com profile under reservations!

If it's like the other Ford online res/order process, MachE, than they will base it on reservation number than order number when you convert to one. Larger volume stores are going to naturally have larger number of reservations but all will be according to res/order lineup.

Numbers are weird, I have my confirmation from Ford at 7:06(CST) 8:06 East., and mine is 10118048. That's 6 minutes from reservation opening time? Wonder what sequence strategy Ford is using?

Change your dealer to a larger one in your profile. If it is similar to our Mach E reservation, we could change our dealer when we converted our Reservation into an Order in late June.
