  1. Change vehicle on Ford Performance ProCal tuner? Nope.

Update 05/04: Not surprising, but FP's answer was a big "Nope!". They cited the fact that it's VIN locked and that the intent of the ProCal is a simple 1:1 relationship with a particular vehicle. Given my particular circumstances, detailed below, they gave me an email address to which I can send...
  2. HELP! Ordering the 1UP Hitch Bike Rack with the LONG Draw-Tite (from UHAUL)

My only issue with leaving the pivot in place is parking sensors. Otherwise, yeah, it fits up fairly fine and just looks like bumper accessory.
  3. HELP! Ordering the 1UP Hitch Bike Rack with the LONG Draw-Tite (from UHAUL)

Crummy weather right now, but I’ll see what I can do for pics. Going to try to get out for a ride today, so will give it a shot then. What angles are you looking for that aren’t in the pics from @Shane78?
  4. HELP! Ordering the 1UP Hitch Bike Rack with the LONG Draw-Tite (from UHAUL)

This is true. It is a honking big piece of gear! And takes some effort to mount/unmount.
  5. HELP! Ordering the 1UP Hitch Bike Rack with the LONG Draw-Tite (from UHAUL)

šŸ’Æ on the Kuat! Went driver’s side for the swing direction on mine. Works great and there’s no wondering about geometry. Fits fine with my SAS spare and can handle the 4 bike (2 bike extension included) just fine. Hefty piece of gear, but solid! Edit: Worth noting that the shackle that comes...
  6. Support HB 1222 (Removing Front License Plate Requirements)

Best of luck! We have the same requirement here in WA state. Asinine. However, the dealer was kind enough to neglect attachment of the front bracket, and I’ve taken the liberty of repealing that law within the jurisdiction of my Bronco. Effectively did the same with my ā€˜19 Ranger that the...
  7. Blown CV boot from the factory??

Could always pony up the $2,200 for these bad boys, lol! https://www.stage3motorsports.com/cvjifs-bronco-21-22-bronco-rcv-ultimate-ifs-front-cv-axles.html
  8. Blown CV boot from the factory??

Yeah, I think it's a gasket thing. Looked all around the jam for any kind of rubbing, but didn't find any. All gaps look good, and the striker seems to line up fine with the latch - no apparent rubbing there either. We'll see how it wears in as my dealership appointment approaches. Thanks for...
  9. Blown CV boot from the factory??

Yeah, definitely familiar with CV axle replacement. And I have access to a garage with a lift to make life easier. Just not too keen on coming out of pocket $300+ for the part and putting in the work on an obvious warranty issue. And, I'd rather have the work covered. Looks like RH axles are...
  10. Blown CV boot from the factory??

Next week is great news! I won't even have it in to be looked at before then, lol.
  11. Blown CV boot from the factory??

Dang! Where are they getting and/or what are they doing to these dang CV boots!? We're such a small subset of owners, so I bet there are a lot of Bronco drivers out there that probably pay MUCH less attention to their undercarriages than us. Hopefully, the grindy/ringy/poppy noises get them...
  12. Blown CV boot from the factory??

Gotcha. Do you guys see a lot of door alignments, too? Need to have that looked at when I get her in. Rear passenger doesn't like to close consistently w/o some force.
  13. Blown CV boot from the factory??

Yeah, in my first pic, you can see an abundance of grease built up right where the boot meets the outer band clamp. Probably where the failure is. Such defect/damage could have been introduced anywhere, I guess. Curious, from what perspective have you seen the incidence of these failures...
  14. Blown CV boot from the factory??

Yeah, looks like just the CV axle. The first two entries are probably labor to diagnose and then do a courtesy MPI. Unfortunate to hear they're on backorder. Interested to hear how long the wait is.
  15. Blown CV boot from the factory??

Yeah, could have been anything. Who knows. This forum has a tendency to amplify issues, given our enthusiasm for our current and/or prospective rigs. But, issue seems systemic, like there’s an issue that could be anywhere between manufacturing the part and shipping the vehicle. Wonder if @Ford...
  16. Blown CV boot from the factory??

Not yet. Earliest appointment I could get was for 04/24. When I have a moment, going to shop around for something earlier. But, need a dealership that does loaners, as I have a LOT of driving to do this month. When you say ā€œassemblyā€, what are you referring to? Just the whole CV axle? Or are...
  17. Selling 4 door rock rails

You may want to consider the below guidelines for selling on the forum. Not saying you’re a scammer, but a lot of people have been scammed by fake sellers on the forum, which is why the below requirements were put in place. I’m not a mod, but recommend you follow it before ending up in forum...
  18. Blown CV boot from the factory??

Also, good point about the articulation, I think. Even during normal driving, angle of the axle means bottom of the rotation is where CV boot stretches, which would fling grease rearward as cut/split opens then closes on the way back up.
  19. Blown CV boot from the factory??

🤣🤣🤣 Of course, exactly that vid is what came to mind when looking back over that 1500mi and imagining worst case scenarios!
  20. Blown CV boot from the factory??

Yeah, I hear ya! I certainly hope it’s okay to drive! Been doing so for 1,500mi with several multi-hundred mile trips with this like it is. No discernible grinding to this point. Will def limit mileage until I get a firm answer and/or fix. Don’t want to diminish the life of those parts if...
