I believe the part numbers are:
2-Door: M2DZ-9955100-AA
4-Door: M2DZ-9955100-BA
Not sure about availability, but showing at all the different Ford part warehouses online. MSRP of $825 with a bunch doing 23% off.
@flip might know about availability(sorry for tag if not).
I only have a 2-door so only two rack mounting points, but I think I could probably hook the base of the hardtop with a flat hook for hoisting.
I’m also wondering how strong the rest of the top dripline would be for strapping purposes. Also looking at the rear 2 inches of the front roof...
Still researching. A bunch of different ones are on amazon. Search for “flat hook roof”. And I think strapworks is one of the companies you can get custom straps.
To shield the fob radio signal. Bronco won’t let me lock it inside manually with just the stick key. Keypad would work, so would Fordpass but I’m going in the water.
So I didn't get the roof rails with my 2-door. Looking at it now, maybe I should have, but I didn't really like the bulky look of them and figured I could get them later or some other aftermarket one. Well, I hear you still can't get the oem one yet, and it'll probably be twice the price so...
@Doc Rocket do the seat covers have a cut out for the rear seat access handle on the front seats? Or do you just stretch the cover? I don’t think the recline lever lets the seat back go fully forward.
I ended up trimming mine, but had to do it still installed on the bronco. I’m sure I could have yanked it off if I tried hard, but couldn’t get it to unscrew like it looks like you should be able to do. Any tricks to removing them? Trimming on the rig was a pain and can’t say I didn’t get my...
Did you use the rear inputs for the key 200.4? So the rear pods still get the limited frequency range? Or does the key do some magical dsp and the rears sound good when faded to only the back without the sub?
Thanks! Yeah I’ve been reading up. I was leaning on getting Alpine s-s40 or Kicker 47KSC404 cause I got it in my head that maybe they’re less harsh w/ silk tweeters. Not sure I could tell the difference. Anyway the JL are the only ones I could find locally right away. Otherwise I gotta...
I saw that video the other day too, and it looked way easier. How off was the allignment after reinstalling, assuming you tried to match the previous guage marks?
Yeah it is long and flat, which is why it seems weird to me. I even checked the springs out. Had the same sticker and number on the coils left and right so should be good.
