Is it sold as "NEW" or "Used".
I don't think they can sell it as "New" once it leaves the lot on a previous sale, even with the buyback language.
I worked at a family owned dealer DECADES ago.
Not uncommon for cars to be driven by the staff for any number of reasons.
Department managers...
I know his pain. LOL
A certain gas station chain in this area has EXCELLENT canopy lighting at night.
The first couple years I had owned it, I looked like a nut-case every time I filled up there at night .... walking around the Bronco getting pics from various angles, hold the camera up high...
I like my AMB base Base just fine, but I'd maybe get a base Badlands manual since ManSquatch was not available at that point. Maybe add Mid & tow pkg since it would be available at that trim.
Location?
Around here , northern Indiana, plain old Bases are around 32k.
BaseManSquatch would maybe see high 30's??? Plus you're two years newer than mine.
Check Cars.com within 150 miles of you for similar builds.
You won't get what dealers ask, maybe 2k less or so.
That damn thing is a fight to get open every time, despite the claims that the tailgate itself is very light.
So it's all a function of the strut.
I just usually muscle through it and ,as you stated, wait for the strut to catch up.

I love this lie the gov't / politicians sold us.
If we turned every kernel of corn into ethanol, let all the livestock starve, etc etc ... that ethanol would replace about 20% of what we need for fuel.
What did ACTUALLY happen, all the politicians started buying into corporate farms either...
Before Co-vid , there was .... THE FLU !
They had TP shortages and mass panic buying back then as well.
Then they invented immunization shots.
( the above was posted as total and complete sarcasm. Please do not use these statements as "facts" in a later argument. HoosierDaddy assumes no...
3 peak is a nearly worthless standard.
Buy tires you know will perform well.
Buy them from a local merchant in case of issues.
You can easily jump up to a 285 wide tire, and probably wider with ZERO issues unless you intend to aggressively stuff them into the wheel wells.
285/70-17 (32.8")...
Man, I love the look of those wheels, but I dislike poke. Same goes for the MT Classic wheels.
Apparently that look is extremely difficult to pull off with these high + offset wheels ... I get it , no dish and it will look funny.
